I impulse pre-ordered a box of KeyForge. This was foolish and a waste of about 90 dollars.

Nobody I know independently wants to play this game. There are clients you can use to play online that don't require you to buy anything. Tabletop Simulator (which I own) is even more reliable. There is a 0% chance the cards ever will go up in value because they're sticky to a particular deck and the set has an unlimited print run.

I think this stands out as the worst purchase I've ever made. A lot of other ones I can write off as at least catering to friends that wanted to play something with me. Prior to this, my worst purchase was probably Star Ocean 3.

It is fun! I just wish there were more people into card games near me. Not quite as good as Netrunner, and of similar length, but pretty close.

I bought Final Fantasy VII on the JP PSN Store because I wanted to play it in Japanese, not realizing that the NA version (which I already owned) could be played in Japanese by simply changing the PS4's system language

It was only like 15 bucks but that's the worst I can think of right now

I like GTA IV a lot, but it's not the 10/10 all time classic that the review scores made it out to be.

Though it does have some all time great DLC (well, in comparison to other DLC) though.

Theres been a few times where I bought a game on sale, never played it, and then it perma dropped to the sale price I purchased it at and then went even lower

I bought the deluxe edition of FFXV and now the game is like 10 bucks.
My only solace is that I have the blu ray for the movie now but thats not nearly good reason enough. Especially since I ended up getting a royal code upgrade for free, so that defeats the deluxe edition goodies as well

Funny enough, I STILL haven't played it, so no regret over it being supposedly mediocre. Just the price

part of the reason why I didn't buy anything black friday. It'll be lower by the time I have time for them anyways

I never said it was a 10/10 classic. To me its just a great game. I would definitely agree it has its flaws. At the time though, the review scores were warranted because its was the new GTA.

None of the characters were memorable, weakest soundtrack since 3, and side quests that were borderline mandatory got old fast. Even its two expansions (Lost & Damned and Gay Tony) were far superior.

Same here and it's a good contender for my most disappointing full price purchase. GTA IV was an entirely joyless experience for me and I could not bring myself to finish it. I appreciated Rockstar trying to tell a more meaningful story for the time, but they didn't need to strip the game of all of its fun in the process.

Even Star Fox Zero I ended up pretty much loving, despite literally hating it for the first five or so hours. So glad I powered through though and mastered the controls, because I low-key think it might be the best Star Fox once that hurdle is conquered.

trash game, trash resident evil, trash characters, trash bosses, trash gameplay, trash music and sound effects, trash "you will be punished for things you are unable to know about without looking at a guide or having previously played the game" design, trash voice acting for everybody except wesker/chris/claire, it fucking sucks shit on all conceivable levels unless you love the knife (in which case, you're better off playing modern resident evil anyway)

I do remember thinking that gta 4 was overhyped at launch when I played it at my friend's place.

There was something weird about the movement, and the driving was super slippery. Maybe it was closer to real life physics, I don't know. But I bought it for 10 bucks a way down the road and don't regret it one bit.

There are definitely degrees of badness

WWF Atittude in 1999, I was going through a really shitty time period with my gramps having recently died and needed a distraction. It was fine for a while but the novelty quickly wore off.

X-Men Next Dimension: Less, said the better. Lucky it was part of a two for 30.
