11 people fell off the Top 50. Ultimaphazon, CasanovaZelos, NightTundra, NeoElfboy, OFool, VeryInsane, Polycosm, aphorism, Fr0zoN, Ngamer64 and Dva69 did not have Ryu, Shepard, KOS-MOS and Aqua winning.

7 people got the match wrong but survived. Iamamongyou, 8Sunshine6, MasterMoltar, Bolto4, Nakian, vinsonarus and Oxbridge also did not have Ryu, Shepard, KOS-MOS and Aqua winning.

1 person had enough of a lead to lose 2 points but stay on the Top 50. Zylothewolf only got half of the matches right but is still alive.

The whole 'Dante always blows out people and then folds' is getting memed a bit too much here. He's not a super non-transitive character, he just fights a lot of fodder and a lot strong opponents. Ganondorf is probably the favorite going in because of his very strong track record, but he's underperforming by a lot here and it's not something to write off.

I suppose fighting character in general have fallen, but I probably think less of it than most. I don't think Scorpion haven't fallen has to do with Mortal Kombat being a fighting game in particular. I expected Guile to be that bad, but I know I was in a minority. I actually thought Chun-Li did rather good. I'm sure she'd generally be thought better of if her match was later on in the contest.
