Andy from Advance Wars. That series, along with Golden Sun, singlehandedly established the GBA as the successor to the SNES when it came out. It's insane to me there is no rep from either series.

Also Andy could play like Pokmon trainer, but instead of Pokmon there would be infantry, tanks and helicopters. His ultimate smash would be the same as his CO power, a heal.

Somewhat realistic: Neku
Actually plausible: Crono

The Builder from Dragon Quest Builders (with male and female versions like Robin, Corrin etc)

They'd have a big hammer as their main weapon, throw blocks around as projectiles, and maybe be able to plonk down big walls or furniture that would function as temporary obstacles/platforms.
