I'm from the north, and I would never wear shorts outside in 45 weather... That's being said, I hate the cold in general. The worst part of the year in coming soon...

Obviously, you wear shorts and a t-shirt when it's 45 to toughen yourself up for when it's 15.

"Below freezing" isn't that cold unless you're spending extended periods of time outside.

45 is shorts weather for me if I feel like wearing them. But I'll wear pants too because it goes better with my fall wardrobe.

I wear long sleeves with shorts sometimes, but it has to be a very specific kind of outfit for that to happen.

Pants in the summer is a hard never ever.

When I lived in Virginia people would wear shorts with snow on the ground. Part that confused me is they'd have a hoodie on. So your upper body gets cold but your legs are immune to it? Ok...

45 is a bit much, but I'll happily wear shorts in the 50s and be perfectly comfortable.

On the other hand, I basically start sweating at 75.

Probably depends on where you live some places tend to be more humid and humidity always makes it worse.

Yeah but its worse when its humid trust me. I remember a particular day it was 110. It hurt to breath. Where as I worked in a kitchen once and had the thermostat read around 110. That wasn't so bad

My best friend tells me as a smoker going to Florida was a nightmare until his body adjusted. Said it felt like he was inhaling fire.

Aside from gym class and when I was a little kid. I didn't start wearing shorts until I was an adult. But then again j was like the one poll option where I would be known to wear a hoodie in the summer

90 is hot enough that I have to stay inside.

I won't even mow my lawn if it's hotter than 80 or so, I sure as unholy fuck won't be doing any optional physical activity over 100.

I can't handle the heat whatsoever, so it's definitely "stay inside" weather for me. Nothing I could do about it while working in a warehouse, though (thankfully it was only around 35-38C).

Australia is weird in where some places with hot weather can be bearable, whereas other places it's just... no. Lock me in the freezer, please!

As said humidity. I can Handle heat but humidity kills me. It can take even a plain warm tempature day and make it feel miserable

I've gotten used to it these past several years though. But my first summer here I'd step outside and instantly feel damp and slimey.
