Wonder if we'll finally get a fun Ike alt on the Christmas banner. For being the most popular character, he doesn't have that many alts, and they're all serious business ones

As for the RD banner, Haar is pretty much guaranteed, since I think he's the most popular unreleased character from Telius. We may get staff Micaiah or Elinicia, and then maybe one more. We may not even get a full banner...

Excluding Beast units, Haar is the most popular character who isn't in the game going by CYL2 rankings. This is true even without combining his votes from FE9 and FE10.

Strongly disagree with this, I remember how much they pushed Radiant Ike in that "vote for your free unit" deal early this year.

I generally assume IntSys is motivated by $$$, and if we've gotten fewer Ikes than we expected it's probably because they haven't drawn as heavilly as they expected. Which might not be surprising if Ike's fanbase is more "casual" (due to Smash maybe? Marth is clearly an even more extreme case here). Not like they'll ever release that data for us to know for sure though.

My wife floated the theory recently that Ike's fanbase might prefer his more serious-business looks (rather than say, Chrom's or Xander's fanbases who like them in goofy outfits) and that makes some sense to me intuively but not sure how IntSys would gather data on that, unless they've done some polling I'm not aware of.

Nice to see the sisters and the Robin's finally get refines. MRobin is still good with TA Raven, so I wonder if he's just getting a stronger Raven tome or something else. Don't care about the other two

I am still anxiously waiting for Kagero, Saizo, Kaze, Sakura, Priscilla, and Ursula to get refines. Clarine, Laslow and Frederick would be cool, too. Really, every single unit should get its own legendary, including healers, and hope they continue with these big updates so we can speed through the process

well i just spent 90k feathers on Setsuna merges/SI but i still have 700k left for the whitewings. man i really hope Palla avoid's Titania's fate there; really do not want another TA prf. i'll probably do Catria at the very least. perhaps instead of a whitewings team i'll make the all-Connor-Kelley team.

I guess we will never know, but I know a fair amount of people who didn't try to summon for Legendary Ike exactly because of that poll and how "obvious" his win would be, so if the banner didn't draw as many people as they hoped that might be the reason.

That said, all of Ike's alts were "forced", one was chosen by CYL and the other... you can't really make legendary heroes without acknowledging Ike, especially since his RD version wasn't in the game.

I don't summon on seasonals for the most part so your wife might be onto something, but I think they can spare a single seasonal Ike if Xander can afford to have three seasonal alts, I doubt he's going to sell much less.

Yea, I have a bunch of Titania's that I'm not doing anything with, just using her as Hone Cavalry bot and HM grind when I feel like it. Too bad I don't care about her as a character either

The Tactic skills definitely need to be made more available. They made the right call with Atk Tactic, but the rest need to follow suit

I think people really underrate Titania's weapon and refine, it's easily the one I have used the most, it makes her so flexible in team comps and being a hard check for blues is all she needs to do tbh and extremely useful in hard content.

There was very little reason to run Titania in a cavalry team over Frederick or Cecilia as a budget option, besides well... being Titania.

Really wish they would do away with VG's. I'll take GC any day. Same event length, but much more lucrative for feathers and you don't have to constantly monitor a predictor. This one is a joke especially

I feel like vote gauntlets could potentially be a really useful mode in terms of market research and stuff and if the winner actually mattered. Not really sure what they're getting out of it when it's a bunch of 5* FEH original heroes with most people just picking whichever of the 8 they own since they're all 5* exclusive.

And they're certainly not fun in any case. So who needs em.

Not too much going on in the game atm. Just the conclusion of the VG(Which I'm guessing most people see as a formality at this point, with the lack of discussion) and then waiting for FEH channel on Monday.

There's also that awkward situation of having nothing to pull on. It's good because you get to save up orbs for the things you really want. But then it's bad because you get bored.... because there's nothing to pull on. >_>

I find it funny that no one gave a fuck about Ylgr or Surtr until recently(At least the latter rightfully was eliminated round 1).

Ylgr winning would be the most bo.... least interesting way for this to end as it's a character... that has less character than Gunnthra, and doesn't have the excuse of an gorgeous design or an interesting base kit.

(And yes I gladly supported Gunnthra in both VGs.)

I literally only got 8/12 of the orbs I had so little interest in this one.

Nifl (which has at minimum 3 out of the bottom 4 characters in the gauntlet) sweeping round 1 didn't help.

Yeah there wasn't a lot of characters I was into either.

Gunnthra > Helbinidi in terms of characters I actually liked.

Laegjarn > Fjorm > Hrid > Laevatein in terms of character I didn't care all that much about.

Ylgr > Surtr in terms of "Thank God those didn't win".

New seasons introduced.

These seasons work on a different cycle, and apparently work on Aether Raids. These won't be tied to legendary heroes, but tied to a new Mythic Heroes. The first one being Eir(Light).

Summoning Event: Hero Fest

Red: Owain
Blue: Ophelia
Green: Lewyn
Colorless: Eir

We'll also be getting First Summon Tickets. With them you don't have to use five orbs to start summoning. This is in addition to the free summon we already have on all banners. Tickets only apply to the first orb summoned so to use another ticket you'll have to end the current session you're on. Apparently First Summon Tickets are tied to particular events, and will expire if not used by then so we may not be able to hoard them for a rainy day.

These will apparently be given out in Forging Bonds events

Beast Units are finally here, the first one being Tibarn. He has the same movement range as cavalry.

And finally Book 3 Chapter one will give us a free 5 star hero, Eir naturally.

I am disappointed there is no word of a skill refinery, I was sure that was where they were going with introducing these powercreep skills (just like they introduced Slaying weapons before the weapon refinery last year). But beast units finally coming is pretty hype. It looks like Tibarn can move 3 tiles as a flying unit, but, presumably with some transform limitations.

Holy shit, beast units. I always thought if these made it into this game, the only way they could do it is make them colorless and effective against other beasts to entice people to pull for them

I don't dispute your statement, but it was foreseeable. "Legendary" Heroes were basically a gimmick for Book 2, so I figured they were going to do something different but the same for Book 3.

Also that "We'll figure out a way for you guys to get more lift!" statement IS made?

Yep, it's going to be Mystic Heroes boosting score. Because we all loved Legendary Heroes having an effect in arena.

Tibarn and Nailah coming in January... not my absolute favorite beasts but probably the two i'd want most after Reyson and Naesala. 3 move on a flier seems pretty nuts, especially if Reyson gets that or Naesala gets it AND magic.
