I seriously doubt there is much overlap in the audiences for Charmed and Sunday Night Football. Pretty much, although I certainly enjoyed Mystery Inc more than the original Scooby despite loving that at the time. That one worked because they went full-on Lovecraft with it. And because it had an overarching storyline and wasn't just episodic. And also because it was tongue-in-cheek and humorously self-aware. Honestly, the humor is what sold it on me. The overarching story was a bonus. Granted, I also always kinda liked the more humorous spinoffs, like A Pup Named Scooby Doo. ParanoidObsessive posted... Though I have to admit, I had a fondness for 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo back in the day as well. Also a fun series, but stupidly short.
