time to make predictions now that we're at the quarter mark of the season!

AFC East:

1. Patriots
2. Dolphins
3. Jets
4. Bills

a.k.a. the AFC East for the last 17 years

AFC North:

1. Bengals
2. Ravens
3. Steelers
4. Browns

I think the Bengals are actually good, or at least good enough to win this division. I think it's going to be between the Bengals and Ravens though. I think the Steelers are a mess, and I don't know that they'll be able to salvage it unless Bell comes back really soon and is a beast, which is looking less and less likely. They might be closer to the Browns than they are to the Bengals and Ravens by the end of the season.

AFC South:
1. Titans
2. Jaguars
3. Texans
4. Colts

Okay, this is a fanboy pick, but Tennessee is making a believer out of me. It's a two-team race in this division either way. I don't think the Texans will make a run at it, and the Colts definitely won't.

AFC West:

1. Chiefs
2. Broncos
3. Chargers
4. Raiders

First and last place here seem obvious. There's some debate between the Broncos and Chargers as to who finishes second, but I'll lean Denver at the moment.

Playoffs:

1. Chiefs
2. Bengals
3. Titans
4. Patriots
5. Jaguars
6. Ravens

Dolphins, Broncos, Chargers have a shot. Steelers and Texans could if they can get their act together. Everyone else, not so much.

NFC East:

1. Eagles
2. Cowboys
3. Redskins
4. Giants

I honestly have no idea how good any team in this division is, other than feeling pretty confident the Giants are bad. I don't think anyone but the division winner makes the playoffs this year though.

NFC North:

1. Bears
2. Packers
3. Vikings
4. Lions

Consider me a believer in the Bears (at least for now). Their defense is really good, and I think their offense will be good enough. Chicago actually has the second highest point differential right now behind the Rams, and only the Jags have given up fewer points of the teams that haven't had a bye yet. Not sure if Rodgers will be healthy at all this season, but you can never really count them out as long as he's playing. Vikings are probably good, but something feels off about them right now.

NFC South:

1. Saints
2. Panthers
3. Falcons
4. Bucs

The Falcons just appear to be horribly unlucky this year, but if they start catching breaks, I think they're still pretty decent. I don't really have a strong feeling about who the best team is in the division this year, but I don't think it'll be the Bucs by the time it's all said and done either way.

NFC West:

1. Rams
2. Seahawks
3. 49ers
4. Cardinals

Man, what a bad division outside of the Rams.

Playoffs:

1. Rams
2. Bears
3. Saints
4. Eagles
5. Packers
6. Panthers

Vikes, Falcons, and maybe one of the NFC East teams could challenge for a Wild Card if they figure things out, but yeah.

The Titans seem weird this year. From what I've seen, they haven't looked very good at all, yet they're 3-1 and have beaten at least two very good teams. If you told me they were 0-4 based on what I've watched, I'd probably believe you.

I feel like the quarter point MVP is Mahomes pretty easily, to answer ExTha. I feel like you could put an average QB in LA and the Rams would still be at least 3-1.

If the Chiefs have any QB besides Mahomes in for them, they're probably 1-3 at best.

Tbh the Browns looked better this week than the Steelers. The Steelers had all of two minutes with the ball during the second half and not a single first down after scoring 14 in the first half.

The Steelers have the absolute dirt worst coaching the league now, especially when you consider the talent they have. At least the Browns mostly lost in a game where they were on the short end of horrible officiating (although Raiders got hit with some BS too, but Browns were more crippled by it). The Steelers just went into a game and totally looked lost in their stadium for an entire half.
