Im honestly pretty happy with the amount of content they give us.

I play literally every single day, have played from launch, and im STILL behind.

Plus, while I dont have every 5*/7* I want, and frequently get drought periods, I dont want for variety of units capable of endgame stuff.

I dunno. I guess I appreciate the complainers getting me more stuff, but it can be ridiculous sometimes.

The game is very addictive if you let it get its hooks into you. Took me a good long time of playing it while not really enjoying it to quit. I'd imagine most people who complain about everything the game does are similar.

It also gets irritated by the fact that I'd imagine for these people there are a lot of things the game is doing right that has it being "close" to a game they'd enjoy if they'd just fix one thing. Like for me if this game actually had Final Fantasy characters more than once every 4 banners, or a way to scale up the 3*-4* base rarity units up a bit harder, I would probably still play it. For other people it's probably a slightly more generous gacha or whatever else.

Alright just said fuck it and converted my units that had their TMRs set and ascended my 5 star units up to 7* that didn't have their TMRs yet.

So I now have a 7* roster of Lightning, Olive, Gilgamesh, might do Luneth tonight and will do Orlandeau once I get one unit's TMR to 100%.

The downside is that a lot of the units I'm converting, had the TMR complete, but they're also the units I had pumped pots into the most.

I hope having a larger roster of 7* units will make content easier to clear, from Level 3 Summons to shit like 10 man challenges or the tougher bosses.

I'm in the same boat. I ran it some for the tickets, but I didn't get the swords and probably a few other things. I may have to pot a bit in order to finish up FFXI in time.

I did the same thing, my four 7* ready units were Lightning, Ramza, Dark Fina, and Orlandeau. But the only one that's really gotten consistent use has been Orlandeau.

I only use my Dark Fina 7* since it's amusing killing things with Dystopia after she powers herself up. (Only lv 120 unit, soon followed by Jensen.)

Man, there's going to be a lot of stuff competing for NRG this week.

FFXI for cleanup items. Still need to get all the cactuars, been scared to because of the mass fusing spree I still have to do from Deus Ex.

FFXI Exploration

Dragon Quest, both the MK and Trial since I didn't really do much of either last time.

Vault of Hidden Treasures, even if it's cheap and once a day, that's still something.

Also, I'll admit that looking at the upcoming batch, I'm going to be tempted to 7* my Merc Ramza. I know unless he gets some good GL upgrades he's just not worth it because his covers are CD based, but until Basch comes he'd be my only 7* tank. Plus it'd stop me from doing something really stupid with my UoC ticket.

Really? That's their reason for the emergency maintenance? I figured I'd be the only one crazy enough to even consider using their UoC tickets on Shantotto, and yeah, I'm hopefully not that stupid.

I mean, I'm kind of sick of the Gumi hatefest going on too, but if that's the reason, I'll admit there's going to be a part of me that thinks they fucking deserve it at this point. They do have a trend of fixing things that benefit the playes instantly, but any long-term issues that harm us just tend to linger. I just don't get their philosophy towards working and operating like this.

How on earth is that supposed to endear you to your customers? I would love to know the reasoning, honestly. People weren't going to invest much in this banner to begin with, I don't see how the units getting into the pool was going to hurt them much in any way.

*sigh* Well, that's what we get for becoming gacha addicts. They know they can pull stuff like this and we'll keep coming back, because the game is still good enough at its core to be worth it. And I mean, it is a good game. It's challenging, unit building and theorycrafting are a blast, and it's fun to use all sorts of different FF units, even if a person's favorites may not be the most meta of the meta. I just...I dunno, it just feels like they're so desperate to save a few pennies here with things like unpopular units getting into the UoC pool early that they're going to lose dollars because people are going to take their business elsewhere as a result.

Old banner: If you want Dragonlord 7*great live effort nuke so to speak, or want to use LMS. (Orochi if you got no Fidel.)

New banner: Slime knight for its shield.

Otherwise, not really beyond LMS makes the defense parameter missions much easier.

The accounts that used UoC for the mog units are temporarily suspended while they get rolled back. Any resources used on those units, including cactuars, gil, and UoC stubs are being returned.

It's definitely strange. Another one of the FFBE boards long time big spenders just quit after this.

It really seems like Gumi doesn't understand building for the long term with their handling of this UoC stuff. By making units not show up until their banner is gone to get people to spend more early, they've done more to alienate people even more, especially when combined with their bungling of UoC in general.

If you keep people around there's a chance that they're going to spend at some point. If you drive them away and they quit, there's no chance that they're going to spend.

Granted, those don't cost 3 million gil, but it looks like something I'll actually use for more than expedition gear, so that's nice.

Huh. I'm having a surprisingly hard time with Monster Carnival ELT. My only successes have been when I bring a high MAG Dragonlord to chain cap. Guess I'll have to just eat the bonus and bring another Tornado chainer and switch Barb to finishing duty.

Or I could just stop. I got all the tickets last time, got the Cautery Sword and 30% Moogle now, and all I'd buy is Erdrick's Sword, which I'll get one of in the raid anyway. And that's a lot of currency for a sword that won't see a lot of use.

Someone keep me up to date if there is ever something in an event that is absolutely worth grinding for equipment\materia wise. I've been largely ignoring them the last few weeks so I can clean up my game and finish outstanding content.

Well at the very least the current Raid is good to go through. Cactuars, Gil Snappers, and a lot of the equipment you can get is really good. Two different weapons with killers, which are always handy, and a hefty non-elemental Great Sword. There are two craftable weapons with killers as well, so those should be nabbed too.

Not sure if the MK is worth farming at this point. Most people got everything last time, so bonus units will be scarce, and outside of tickets it would just be dupes of the equipment you're getting from the raid.

Is anyone bothering to hold onto the Deus Ex raid moogles? I know we've had one or two raid events reappear (and I was so stupid for missing the Bahamut one to get moogles for my Reberta), but even if it does come back around I'm not sure it's worth holding onto anything for that long when I'm not going to pull for the units.

I have two 2Bs. Haven't decided if I would go all in for a second A2 or not.

I finally got my first Rainbow in over a month (and probably a half); got my second Basch from a 4*+ EX ticket pull today, so I may actually skip the Seighart Banner now that I have a Provoke 7* in Gladiolus and a Magic 7* in Basch.

I'm sitting on over 120 tickets, and 42000 Lapis that I've been stock piling (thanks mostly to doing a crap ton of story catch up and not doing a half price daily in like 3 months). I may continue to hold until Xenogears, go for Hyoh, go for A2, or who knows.

My first (only) UoC ticket will be going to get my second Loren when he's available. No plans for future UoC tickets as of right now.
