Total of HP +27% on Malboro's Tentacle. Not absolutely thrilling, but I'm going to run some other weapons before I rerun that. I'm half-tempted to just spend the 40% of moogles I need to nab a Nue for my LV now, but I should know better than that, especially since its rare ability doesn't look all that interesting.

regular DF is a must have for TT.
SBDF is a must have for water based teams. i believe TDH FD Tidus still surpasses Brotherhood equipped Tidus at 7* but i don't know how the math would go with SBDF on the earlier turns.

So I decided to take a look, and there are a few other mages that can use whips. While they don't have any masteries, the only have Rod mastery innately, so there's no reason not to slap it on them.

Unless you're really, really attached to using Rods on your mages, there are at least a few that you can slap a good whip on.

So I made a mistake today. I opened up Nox right after the maintenance ended, looking to start up TMR farming if there wasn't anything worth using NRG on. Well I immediately went to my mail out of habit and claimed everything, trapping almost 1,000 lapis onto my Android version. I'm sure I'm not the first to do that. Well after grousing for a bit and needing to leave, I figured I'd decide what to do with it later. Realized that if I didn't want to do Lapis refreshes for TMR farming (which I may still do), I could also do the half-price pulls to use it up, but I wouldn't get the chance today until I got home. As soon as I did get home, I popped open Nox again and did the pull, got a gold crystal. Tapped it and it cracked into a rainbow, which cracked into my first Elfreeda.

Not quite ready for TDH yet, but I'm now one step closer at least. I think I can live with that rainbow. Maybe once I finish farming up Nue I'll actually try and get myself a Fixed Dice.

If you made a Bowie with hightide and stuff that fits into any category above, goes here.

It means my lapis pools are split, which means it's not available for me except on my emulator. It's okay because I'm going to be using it for dailies, but I should probably be cutting back on those anyway, since step-up banners are all the rage.

How are people's 3* Tetra Sylpheed and Diabolos runs going? I've made two attempts at Tetra, and they both ended miserably. I can survive down to 40% just fine, but once my provoker is blown away I get thrashed. I've read that Marie is actually pretty handy for the fight for the elemental buffs, status, and debuff protections, so I may try her out, but I have no sources of Quake and my physical chainers aren't doing more than 8-10% if I spark chain. Haven't even tried Diabolos yet.

Does that average include the 3rd mog ticket that was really, really expensive though? I don't think the average person is going to grind for that 3rd one, that's what I based my assumption off of at least.

I assume with it due to we don't know how Gumi will handle free or token free ones beyond maybe as a daily so you can round it to 3 months with their scheduling. I don't assume they will throw them around outside very specific occasions like now. But I want to be optimistic since as we get more 7* it should prod them due to the player base will change.

I don't expect the players who can't do elite/legend regularly will get more than the first, maybe the second if they have enough 7* buddies depending on needs since I don't know how people spend event currency, and average luck on getting bonus units.

It's 451k going by FF7 event they had a while ago. (1k, 150k, 300k.)

Did a miscalculation, so assume 4 months just from events, monthly rewards and potential freebies if you skip the 300k one, assuming they don't lower the prices to what I initially thought. (200k instead of 300k.)

I don't assume it will be easy regardless due to UoC's potential since you use them for important decisions in the end. We will see in the coming months how far off I am.

If the first KM with them sports 1k and 150k, assume the worst.

Edit: So, first ticket yes, second ticket, maybe if you skip crysts and crappy materia/equipment, third possible, but I only expect whales and lucky players in general. I need to remember making a poll on the other board for that.

I would hold on to them until you really need to use it. Most important would be checking what you need and what you got. Like, if you are later jumping onto TDH and don't have Cloud, or got no tanks going Basch/Wilhelm/Sieghart would be good picks. STMRs you need to think twice since some will remain useful like Rem or Squall.

For TDH, I'm stuck with just one Marshal Glove.

Don't have Prische, so I'm using Rider Helm or Black Cowl still.

So Im having a hard time deciding which way to go with weapon enhancements this time around. Feeling like +ATK/MAG isnt as valuable as additional HP, but removing the burden of needing materia slots to hit 300% gives more versatility that Id love if I had a wider spread of materia available to me.

Whats everyone else focusing on?

Prism moogle acts as a container for the TMR of the unit you converted. Feed moogles to the prism moogle and once you get to 100% youll get the TMR.

The best plan is to convert a unit that has their TMR, and 7* a unit that doesnt. That way you can farm up a second one later without moogles if need be.

I awoke TG Cid and Ramza with their TMRs at 100%, but I'm not likely to farm a second TG Plan or Brave Suit any time in the foreseeable future, so I'm not worried about it. I awoke Lightning and Dark Fina without their TMRs even slightly leveled, so again, not worried about it.

I might keep that information in hand later down the line for one of the 5* bases I have 100%d that can be 7*d though. TMR farming is too slow for me to do without moogles though, so this information isn't as big a deal to me.

I just use Bahamut. Long animation, just tap before you do your chaining or whatever and it's done

I've never had a problem with "Kill with Esper" missions unless it was something like a fight which was over in one or two rounds and I couldn't build my gauge up in time. I always just summon, count to two, and then do my standard rotation. I have all animations and effects turned off, so not sure if that helps, but as long as the esper damage hits while the chain is going, even if the enemy already hit 0 health, I still get credit.

I don't use Finishers, just a bunch of chainers. Tidus, A2, Fryevia, Orlandeau, etc... So counting to 2 and then starting all my chains usually draws out the damage time long enough so that no matter when the Esper damage hits, as long as the enemy's health has hit 0, I get credit.
