Man those Veritas Enhancements are expensive. I think I may just wait for the next round of cryst caves to do those. Not like I use the Veritas much to begin with. I'm only missing Dark, but I haven't even leveled Wind, Water just won't compare long-term, and I don't have Fixed Dice or any actually good axes. The only ones I'd do are Earth, and I just upped Merc Ramza as a provoke tank so hopefully VoE doesn't completely outclass him, and Light, whom I don't have any good equipment for.

Maybe I'll at least run her gun through the item world and get some Mag modifiers for it. Knowing my luck I'll get the rare skill for it when I've been trying so hard to get it on the Automatic Pistols instead. :P

oh great, so DV is going to end up being that 7* you can do both TDH and TDW with. it's a slight buff on the TDH front but it's just a pain in the ass.

The problem is that he doesn't get dual ability casting, nor a heavy single hit attack to really warrant it.

You will still use his old attack, or Amaterasu.

It depends if you like his auto-heal and less flexible equipment selection.

right. i remember when i got my second DV a few months ago that his 7* form on TDH basically revolves around his LB and the damage is comparable to his DW build. i think it went something like if you can use his LB every 3 turns it does slightly more damage than DW, if it takes more than that then you're better off with DW.

And I think that would be the killer for me. Maybe, maybe if I feel like it next time around I'll go for it. But if I've got both Basch and Merc. Ramza, who both have amazing equipment selections and cover both roles EV would for me, I think I can safely ignore him.

It heIps that rather hated EV in the story anyway. So he's pretty, shallow, and he likes the thrill of the fight? Yeah I get it, but it just wasn't nearly as fun as Water or Light.

And yay for all the people that are going to go TDH for DV to clog up the friendlist just for that extra few points of ATK!</sarcasm> It's not like I don't have enough Sephiroths doing the same damn thing.

for summons, Ramuh is still top for now, then Shiva.

Also, dealt with the trio. Forgot the esper, so whoops, but the shield and skill are mine.
Tornado chains+dispel from WoL( who tanked the deer's attacks)+nichol buffs+ friend DL with eKafrizzle= ded moon again.

Now only need to do Intangir redux, bomb people(meh) and 10-man(waiting until their respective item worlds)

Buh, I completely forgot about Leviathan and Phoenix. Still haven't gotten their 2* yet. Ah well, I'm in no rush. Not really using them all that often anyway. Oh, also, got me Enhancer+ last night.

Took a page from DefiantHermit's run over at the reddit and ran Basch/WoL(wonder why not Wilhelm)/CG Sakura/CGNichol/CG Lid/friend CG Fina

Basch and WoL just tanked all day, Fina got dispels, heals and reraise, Lid broke and healed MP here and there, Nichol spammed Fortune and Impregnable stances on the retaliatory turns and did random stuff otherwise, and CG Sakura Thundered all day while cycling between Status Reset and Defensive Barrier on off turns.

Got a bit dicey in places when Bacteriophage struck with no status resist, but Fina luckily hit herself both times so she wasn't stuck with confusion. Took him down with all missions after 52 turns.

Then I tried it on Freyvja and found out that Luminare beats it in mag boosts.
