It is not hard. People act like rejection is not common and awful. Yeah it bites a little, but get over yourself and accept some people won't like you.

And maybe add "or are clearly uncomfortable" to part B. If you haven't created an environment where she can feel comfortable asking you to stop, she may not explicitly do so despite wanting to, so you need to pay attention to how she's acting. Also be wary of power imbalances, since that can muddle consent.

In Europe, yes due to Orwellian laws. In the US and Japan, you usually need lots of money or fame (which is how even females get hit with #Metoo now) to get targeted.

It's never clear though. Whenever somebody insists they clearly anything, it's always ambiguous.
