And to be clear, a big part of it is how easy the runner makes it look. Things that are hard don't look hard, and the runner has never been in any real danger for the entire run. Personally for me, a big part of a run being exciting is the runner being challenged / put in tough spots where they might fail (temporarily of course) and beating said challenges where this has basically just looked like a 70 minute time trial.
