Dog was the one all the casuals picked this time around because he was the most recognizable name, so the curse demands he reward them with one pack. I didn't recognize anyone else myself, but I pay next to no attention to the pro side of things so that's not surprising.

@Forceful_Dragon , you have PM'd me about a game you've had twice in the last few weeks, when I'm still in the middle of a game and trying to think, and both times I have tried to respond afterwards, a few minutes later, and you're offline, so I can't. -__-

This time, I was about to respond that I had finally decided to craft Genn Greymane, was playing Wild Even Shaman and somehow didn't draw a 2- or 4-drop against a Baku Rogue by Turn 4 (though Jade Lightning is kind of a 4-drop), so it was funny that you mentioned what you did. Then on Turn 6, I rolled a 3 on Crackle on a 4-health minion, PLUS I hadn't rolled a single taunt totem all game, when 2 times it was a 33% chance, and twice more it was a 50/50. But then the game was like "ok fine here" and gave me back-to-back Saronite Chain Gang topdecks a few turns later that preventing lethal, followed by Al'Akir right afterwards for my own lethal.

On that note, Wild Even Shaman is kinda borked.

This game does not take player skill into account. Its all RNG, draw luck, and matchup luck.

Ouch, sorry! Yeah both times it's been games that have happened just before I need to get to bed and it's something that feels so absurd that I need to tell someone before I forget about it.

The one last night was particularly frustrating because my opponent roped me on his lethal turn only to play a holy fire from hand at the last second for the obvious lethal. Like I understand getting RNG'd is going to happen sometimes and it's an acceptable part of HS. I don't think I gave him any reason to be a jerk on top of that.

I think its a necessary evil. Some turns are complex enough that the turns need to last tge entire length and the game can't distinguish from someone who is actually thinking the whole turn and someone who is griefing

when I'm playing against pure cancer decks I will sometimes start roping every single turn until the game ends, depending on my mood. I think it's kinda funny honestly. like they're trying to rank up as fast as possible by playing oppressive bullshit and now they're forced to waste 10 minutes on a game they would normally auto win, or they can only speed the process up by conceding.

No really I played Wild Growth on 2 then I played Oaken Summons on 3 then I Nourish'd and Wild Growth'd (With an Arcane Tyrant) then I played UI which gave me another Arcane Tyrant

So you rarely have the required early card but you also never play the deck. That sounds fair.

I was saving Meteor for later. Clearing his board to face with a 4/6 isnt good value.

For what? You are running a stupid amount of removal and had 2 other forms of big removal already in your had with blizzard for a board clear/stall. What type of value are you looking for in meteor to do? It literally kills a 6 health and 3 health minion and allows a 3rd to be killed off by 1/1's.

I almost never save things for later when playing Control Mage. If I've got a solid target for a removal spell that will put me in a better situation than I am now, I use it.

There's so many removal spells in the deck. It's like Elixirs in a Final Fantasy game. You conserve them all thinking you'll need them later then the game ends and you realize you should have just used them earlier.
