I just faced Even Recruit Warrior as Quest Priest. I was sitting at 22 health, Amara in hand, and he had 5 attack on board, 5 cards in hand. I didn't play Amara, thinking the only way he can have lethal is if that hand is exactly Gromm/Quadruple Inner Rage from his Dead Man's Hand he played earlier.

I was not expecting Gromm/Triple Inner Rage/Heroic Strike.

You know when you think of it, Heroic Strike is basically a less flexible Rockbiter so a Control deck could use it as removal or face damage

It wasnt until Evenlock I think, like during older days meta was faster and control decks had better answers for it but its really annoying for several classes to deal with a turn 3 Giant

It doesnt mesh with Control Mages gameplan at all right now (which is survive until Jaina/Dragoncaller/Lich King)

No Shieldbearer, Disciple, Elder or Twinemps, so C'thun isn't really viable.

What are some good Warrior board clears that are even? No Brawl is rough, Fishes was my next best choice but I'm not about to spend dust on an epic for a joke deck like this. Especially now that I'm looking at my collection and, since I never play Warrior, am noticing just how many cards I don't have.

I'm glad you said list, because this crap sure isn't a deck, or at least one anyone sane and/or good at the game would want to play. On the bright side, I won one of the two games I played with it and it was against a Jade Druid, so I'm happy. He probably had the game won but decided to kill Deathwing 2.0 and put half my hand out on the board with nothing to answer it with. Maybe someone with a better collection and some actual experience playing Warrior could make something half decent out of this? My greed is too real, and so is my laziness. Dead Man's Hand is literally in this deck because I don't have Fishes and didn't feel like looking for the 30th card any longer.

I don't remember ever having to cut the deck code in half before because of a character limit, but 80 is the limit.

Lmao. That is one helluva list. Of that list I'm missing Rag, TLK (who I do need to craft, and have the dust to craft, but still haven't), Deathwing, and Sylvanas :(

Honestly though, it looks fun as hell to dick around with, and as such, I'd say mission accomplished. I can only imagine whoever you're playing against trying to figure out wtf they're playing against.

If I had a full collection to work with, I'd replace Sneed's and Infested Tauren with the Deathwing duo. That said, I really don't like the dragon package, and feel like a full-on N'Zoth version would actually work. Better than this monstrosity anyway.

Fishes and Grommash would both be in my deck if I had them, for DMH and probably Rag. I have both Deathwings, but my deck was already really heavy and I didn't want two 10 drops, and original was a better fit.

Revenge is probably going in right now, though. Completely skipped that card when I was making my deck and I could use some AOE.

I went 2-2 with this. It's pretty bad against anything that can generate continuous big threats. I actually could've beaten a Cubelock if I had just equipped my Blood Razor a turn before his Skull pulled out the first Voidlord. I didn't because only my 6/4 on board and I was afraid of unpowered-up Spellstone or something, I don't know. But then once his Demon Train got rollin', I was powerless to stop it.

I actually beat an Odd Paladin, though! Turn 2 Armorsmith into Turn 4 Blood Razor are reeeeeeeal good, it turns out.

I just wolfed some dude two games in a row

Hes combo priest and Im odd rogue

Game 1 hes like really behind so like its not that amazing but I wolf into glittermoth and play it on 5 with two minions. The next turn I void ripper. Who has the combo now.

Game 2 he has a Big radiant out early but I wolfed into duskbeaker which I was able to activate because of scalebane, and it combined with deadly poison let me clear.

Its a problem because of the polarization of matchups. Imagine if you were even warlock and faced control mage three times in a row. Youd stop playing for the day.

I'd agree with this. I've had it happen a few times, and when the decks are relatively evenly matched, and the win could go to either player, a spur of the moment, best of three can be a fun experience. It's like, I know what you got, you know what I got, let's see who can play better. But when you're on the ass end of the matchup and are going to get rolled pretty much no matter what you do, it sucks.

Played 3 games of this tavern brawl with an inner fire priest since I had quests to cast spells and to play priest cards.

First game, everything aligns perfectly and I hit my opponent with a 32/32 turtle-dude on turn 5.

Next two games, everything seems to be aligning perfectly again, except my opponent is even faster than I am. Thanks to mind visioning a UI, I was poised to win on turn three, and was still overrun by a board full of Violet Teacher students first.

Lost a long win streak due to Witching Hour finding Sheep twice. By itself this would be fine, but the guy misplayed all game and was bailed out by RNG. So as usual, my losses have nothing to do with player skill and misplays in Hearthstone never matter. The ONLY determinant for winning in this game is RNG. No other factor exists.

Its an embarrassment that people defend such shitty game design.

Misplays can't happen if RNG is the only possibility. Cry more.

Here lately I've been oddly consistent at making it to either 4-0, 5-0, or 6-0 in arena without ever exceeding 7 wins. Something like 8 or 9 of my last 10 arenas fit that description.

Yes the best thing is when they emote "Thank you" every single turn, and you never emote back at all, until the final, triumphant "go fuck yourself" emote of "thank you" back at them just before killing them.

Is there a permanent squelch option nowadays?

The first thing I do in every game is squelch. I've done it so many times that I do it without thinking and can get it off fast enough that I don't even see a greeting.

I played against Azuarc a few hours ago and got confused when he greeted me. I had legit forgot about it.

I like to just watch the hate flow through them and I don't BM via emote unless they seriously were asking for it.

Plus the occasional /wow is perfectly fine when something ridiculous happens. Or /oops takes off a little bit of the sting when you seriously screw up.

But to each their own of course. I don't play at a highly competitive level so I'm just a filthy casual tryhard.
