Most taunt warriors dont really run heavy value taunts anymore as they care more about completing quest vs control and getting board vs aggro

Like I think the standard lists only run one 8 drop and its usually Garrosh

I'm pretty sure I've reached the peak of my current deck (managed to barely make rank 6 last month. For a short period of time) so I should probably figure out what I can make and make it.

Or potentially just figure out how to be good at the game. That may be it too.

So in arena just now...my opponent had a timeline witness on board and buffed it with blessing of aeons. I'd hit the minion once for 2 damage, so it went from 2/2 to 3/3 and then to 4/4.

I was in a pretty terrible position and had to play a faceless manipulator turn 5 on his buffed 4/4. It got the blessing of aeons, but didn't buff at to 5/5 at the end of my turn.

While typing this I realized...I guess my copy would have buffed at the end of my opponent's turn, and not mine? Yeah that's probably it...was thinking it was just bugged. Either way that was a bit of a letdown when he just killed it with his truesilver and I thought I was playing effectively a 5/5.

I've heard of this before and it's a bug. If your opponent didn't yours it would have did the triggering animation like it was going to be buffed at the end of his turn but still remained as a 4/4. Whether Blizzard wants it to work like you and I expect it to or at the end of your opponents turn, currently it is doing neither or it at least has been like that as of like a month ago when I read about it.

Wow I just had a pretty ridiculous arena match. Paladin vs Warlock, we were at 3 health each, no hands, just topdecking, for like 7 turns. The sheer odds of that are so low. And we had boards, too. Voidlord with a blood imp against the 3/3 ooze that summons a 1/2 taunt each turn. I drew a 4/6 and he drew a peacekeeper. Just stuff like that. I finally won in the end but that was so tense.

Mountain giant is already a busted card that requires decks play and keep cards they might not when its being heavily played by itself. Why would they make it better.

I wonder if they considered just making a new "giant" tag. I'm pretty sure that's a mob type in WoW.

On a related note: the Piper should have been a devil from jump.

If Arcane Giant had been reclassified as an elemental I might could have found a slot for it in my Elemental Mage. :/

It doesn't it mine, pre-elemental tagging, but I think it's worth a shot. Idk about holding cards to play it until turn 4 (I think on 3 with coin it's aight), as I'm usually trying to contest board somewhat during the early game. If it gets Hunter's Marked/Candle Shot seems like a big tempo loss to me. Granted, you'd have a full hand and have begun the elemental chaining....That's why I think it'll at least be worth experimentation.

Not an add-on so much as a program you run concurrently in the background. It'll put an overlay over your game with info you choose, and it'll record your progress with each deck.

I've had Decktracker installed for a long damn time, feels like a few years though it probably hasn't even existed that long, but I never remember to start it. This is the last replay I actually have recorded...

While deck tracking is being discussed, I'd like to give fellow mobile users a PSA: Arcane Tracker (at least for Android) is a solid deck tracker. It offers reasonable customization (overlay size, opaqueness, etc.) and a replay feature (can't vouch for the replay feature yet, I haven't tried it out). But for a free app, it does exactly what you'd expect, no ads or any bullshit like that either). So if you're on mobile looking for a tracker, you could do worse than Arcane Tracker. I've had a good experience with it.

A great example of my bad draws once again, paired with an opponent having near-perfect RNG. 6 of my last 11 cards were Polymorph x2, Sindragosa, Baron, Lich King, and Jaina.

His game plan was summoning a horseman and bouncing it for a combo turn. It requires a lot of luck, because to do this combo you have to summon horsemen that aren't duplicates of what's in your hand. One duplicate happened.

I do not fucking make things up. This is literally what I see in the vast majority of my games. I get bad draws and bad RNG, and get to watch good draws, good RNG, and bad matchups. I am flat-out not playing the same game as you people.

Imagine complaining about draws when you coin into a bird on turn one. That's a play that someone playing HS for the first time would make.

Even Reno Dragon Warrior. Is there another deck limiting descriptor I can add to this deck and have it still somewhat work? C'thun?
