Damn. I just got offered three legendaries and four cavern dreamers in a mage draft.

Toki, Oakheart, and Murozond. Murozond was probably not the ideal pick, but I just took him because that card looks fun as hell.

If you haven't seen it:

7 mana 6/6 Dragon
Battlecry: From now on, your turns are 15 seconds and you draw 2 extra cards.

I had a Druid play Murazond, then 2 turns later he Deathwing'd me. In his three cards the next turn, he Primordial Drake'd my wide board. That was a terribly unfun combo to play against.

Murozond was terrible the one game I played against it, until the opponent got three Infinite Murlocs going at once and then never fatigued.

First where game I played Murozond, it was on turn 7. I lost in fatigue with 9 cards in hand and a dominant board, with my opponent having no cards and 4hp.

He just was lucky enough to have a ton of defensive answers to continuously slow me down.

Another interaction puzzle.

You have the 10/10 dragon on board and it's dormant at 1/2. You play corrupting mist. Your opponent has an obsidian statue.

At the start of your turn, which happens first? Dormant dragon becomes a minion, or obsidian statue dies and fails to proc its deathrattle since you have no minions?

Half the reason (or more) that most people don't engage with you in this thread is because it seems like that's what you want.

Like you're going out of your way to make a ton of posts in a thread dedicated to a certain game which only serve to bring down everyone else's enjoyment of the game. You consistently make an effort to ruin other people's experience. We all acknowledge the game has RNG elements, lots of them, and we still enjoy it.

Any independent third party who analyzed these threads scientifically would have a hard time not scientifically identifying you as a troll. You go out of your way to bring down the quality of the topic.

We all "know" you get bad RNG. Just give it a fucking rest, please?

Like when you've made oh I dunno, 2,000 posts in a series of threads and everyone else in said threads agrees by unanimous vote that your posts bring down the quality of the threads on average, it's on you to do some self reflection. Not on us to suddenly be enlightened by your bitching and moaning.

Bad RNG and bad draws are different things. My draw luck is historically and impossibly bad. The reason I beat pros so easily is because Im not playing the same game as them. They play correctly. I play around my own luck fuckery and they dont understand what Im doing.

Best example was playing Supreme Verdict when a red deck had one creature out. They were afraid to play anything all game because they knew I had more. In reality I knew I wouldnt draw another one all game, so I beat the guy with Archangel of Thune goat aggro post sideboard. He asked why I wouldnt Verdict again and I showed him 5 lands. Never drew Verdict or Sphinxs Rev in that entire game.

This is how I have to win in card games, because good draws flat-out will not happen.

Even if a third of what you say is hypothetically true, you use far too much hyperbole to have any credibility. So regardless of what's happening in the grand scheme of things, you are having zero positive effect in these threads. That is not up for debate.

I have not been doing well in constructed (mostly due to not playing) but I have been crushing arena. Had a six win warlock and thats coming off of multiple 8 win mages and shamans.

I get why Ultis go to insult for people is some kind of sterilization. Hes projecting his own hatred knowing if he ever breeds children (gods forbid) he will be the worst father in the history of fathers.

On a much more, uh, normal note.... do any of you ever do the thing where you auto concede and get to the next game if you have a bad matchup? Around one person per 25 games or so just auto quits when they see Im playing control mage. Im talking turn one concede, not an odd paladin quitting after 3 board wipes. Ive seen get better guides on both sides of the aisle on that debate.

Pros by and large do not have more intelligence or skill than the average player. They simply have more free time and disposable income. There are exceptions like Kripp when he discusses math, or Negranyu when he discusses poker reads, but those are RARE exceptions. The mental block for people is losing before they even start a game against a pro.

The idiocy involved in thinking that card beats hexproof is just beyond me. @trdl23, how long has hexproof been a keyword?

Magic just spoiled a card that says for each player, choose target creature, it gets sacrificed, and then you do some library stuff. Target creature specifically means it cant TARGET hexproof or shroud.

Amaz tweeted how this card beats hexproof. Stop thinking pros are smarter or better than you. Theyre not.

Hexproof has been around since M12 and more notably Innistrad, where they went pretty nuts with it. Before then the ability existed, but it wasn't keyworded, and it was used VERY sparingly (the only 4 I can recall offhand are Troll Ascetic, Silhana Ledgewalker, Slippery Bogle, and Thrun the Last Troll). It was jokingly called "troll shroud" because it was so associated with both its respective trolls.

Ok let's be clear on something.

I'm fully confident that if I put the time and dedication into it, I could go pro in magic, hearthstone, pokemon, yu-gi-oh, whatever. I have no doubt about that.

That doesn't mean the current pros in those games aren't better than me at those games, as of this moment.
