Excellent day. Albeit one with relatively straightforward picks, not to take anything away from Deep Forest or Amusement Park. I kind of want both songs in the side match to do well. PV partially because I want to see Nico's Theme look great in retrospect, and DF for the sake of Blue Skies, which was my favs bracket overall pick. But also because I really like both songs a lot.

Pretty weak day all around. I guess this is kind of the "anteroom" to the very best matches of the contest, both with the Main and Side brackets.

-While End of All may not be the gratest orchestrated piece, it surpasses Amusement Park in every way imo (including vocals).
-Side match is painfully easy (painfully 'cause I know PV is going to win with a wide margin). Did I mention before, though, that I like the peacefulness of Deep Forest, and how much it makes me picture a nice day in Venice? I actually didn't. That was a tricky question, hehe (at this point, anything can become a good excuse to write something up).

Was hoping for a different finals in the side bracket, but not at the expense of advancing Deep Forest instead. This is one of the worse quarterfinals I've seen, but if it means one of these songs is knocked out, I can live with that. WTF for a literal 16 seed vs 16 seed match.
