My dad called me at about 7, and while I was on the phone my friend said "hey, I'm gonna go say hi to the neighbor, text me when you're done." I texted him afterwards, he didn't answer. Go outside and his car is gone. I don't know where he went, and he was my wingman for the night so I didn't go anywhere. Turns out he went to the bar with my neighbor, and didn't end up coming home until after midnight. My friends are great. --- Phantom Dust. If he's not going to make it up to you by doing something incredibly generous in the next week or two - like taking you out for a beer, then surprising you with something nice you've been wanting - then stop talking to him. The silent treatment will send him the message that you're not going to forgive him easily for this. It may end your friendship, but oh well, that's no big deal because he's not a true friend anyway.
