I can also take it out camping with me to boil water for tea or instant coffee over the fire. So, if I'm making soup, or rice, or veggies, I'll actually boil the water in the kettle first, when that is almost done, I'll put the pot on my stove and turn the stove top on, then pour the water into the pot. It the fastest way to bring water to a boil. For me, at least. --- I love the Power Glove.
