Maybe. But how much water can it hold. I usually fill a pot. And then use actually fire(gas stove) to boil it. I would want to fill an electric kettle a couple times just because. I'd rather fill a few pots and use Fire...


Mine can boil 1 liter of water in half the time it takes on a gas stove.

If I am boiling water, it is usually 5 gallons or more, because I am making beer. Then again I have a propane burner that can boil 5 - 10 gallons of water in about 15 minutes.
