Topic	Did you know that Americans DON'T use ELECTRIC KETTLES?? They use STOVETOP!!!

So, if I'm making soup, or rice, or veggies, I'll actually boil the water in the kettle first, when that is almost done, I'll put the pot on my stove and turn the stove top on, then pour the water into the pot. It the fastest way to bring water to a boil. For me, at least. --- I love the Power Glove.
