The Fire Emblem theme just isn't too interesting to me. I really like Mourning Refrain, not as much the chorus but the melody of the verse itself is good. Blue Radiance also doesn't interest me in particular. Amusement Park is solid with those great Nier vocals. I like the jazzy bits of The Danger Zone in the middle, and overall think it's good. Just fun the whole way through. High School Love... I don't mind the instrumentals really, but the vocals are way too cheesy for me to really get into it. Maybe that's unfair? Well, then let me be unfair.

Fire Emblem - Fire Emblem's probably one of my favorite songs in a Nintendo game, and it sucks a song as good as Mourning Refrain is up against it.

Amusement Park - Not much to say. Could've gone either way.

High School Love! - As soon as High School Love started I thought "nice, an awful sub" but I... don't hate it. At all. What? I can't tell if I'm voting ironically because "LOL" is an actual lyric in this goddamn song or if its unironic. Probably a mix. Other songs straight up pretty good though.

It's kind of weird hearing FE in one of these after hearing it in Melee so often and never thinking about it. It's okay I guess? MR isn't my favorite Trails ED by any means (I'll Remember You when) but it's still solid.

Blue Radiance is such a weird song to keep getting into these, but I've always kinda liked it. Amusement Park is uh spooky or something

Fire Emblem - What's up with all the bad Trails songs in the contest this year? For a series with such great music the nominators kinda shit the bed for the most part.

Amusement Park - AP is quite good, BR is blah.

High School Love! - HSL is hilarious. Danger Zone starts out great, but it feels like it doesn't really go anywhere, unfortunately.

Not even a close match, Amusement Park is my favorite track from Nier Automata. Such a great song.

While I generally don't try to be negative in these, I hate the Melee version of Together We Ride. The Blazing Sword and Shadow Dragons versions have this real cool answer-and-reply thing going on when it hits the chorus that I love, and so the Melee version's lack of that makes it feel like there's a giant hole in the piece.

Although there aren't actually bad songs today, the winners crush their corresponding competition

I'm not so much in the mood for full write-ups today, but:

-Mourning Refrain is my sixth favorite discovery of the contest (not in terms of rankings, but as in "so far"), counting both main and side brackets.
-I remembver hearing Blue Radiance so long ago... It's such a good song. Makes me want to play the game it's on; the NieR Automata song is pretty meh (specially considering the series it comes from.
-Even though I can't distinguish most of what's being sung in High School Love! (English is not my main language), it literally made me laugh by the time it reached the "let's go for cheeseburgers and fries!!!" part. It's so cheesy and happy... And it comes from Tekken? A fighting game? Is that right???
