Kinda. Lots of cards are not good enough to see constructed play, but a lot you can still have fun with the effect. Millhouse is good for breaking the game or in those boss brawls. So worse than that is something not even good when you build around it or can't build around it.

Silverback Patriach regularly gets beaten by every similar type of card they release. Not sure that makes it the worst though, just power creeped out

I'm usually not a fan of RNG effects but I really like the idea of Tess and I'm somewhat interested in playing her. I guess the options you get off of Hallucination are random, but it changes the dynamic because you want to select options that will give you better results when you replay them with Tess later on. That's a pretty cool concept.

ive still playing even Paladin and I don't quite think the deck is as strong as I first thought, but I do think it's going to be a tier 1 or upper tier 2 deck. It's hard to tell because basically a few versions are going around. I want to experiment with different two drops. I've been considering Aramani berserker. I've also thought about cutting steeds (or replacing one for a kings), but I have not seen that many silences yet.

there's no standout 2 drop beasts anyway so if I swap bloodfen raptor for golakka crawler it doesn't impact my deck much except in the cases where I do get to instant kill an amalgam and drop a 3/4 on the board

Is it possible to build an Odd Paladin that's not aggro? Trying to play double dudes when you don't want to play aggro seems like it's not worth it. Hell, I'm running Frostwolf Warlord at the moment.

You could probably do something to make it not aggro but it'd just be strictly worse.

I'm having fun with Spiteful Druid. There aren't anymore bad 10 drops in the pool so you can't really low roll. The 7 drop 4/11 taunt has been a pretty good addition.

The best part is it doesn't just die instantly against Warlock and Paladin which means it isn't completely unplayable on ladder!

playing some games this morning without tracking stats, but man can I just say I'm loving this shudderwock meta. hope the card doesn't get nerfed soon. I'm literally farming wins by killing shaman on turn 5 over and over.

yeah the problem is the 20 minute long animations

which I never see

because I kill them before they ever play it

sadly this has created a situation where everyone has to play aggro to beat shudderwock, but all aggro decks lose to aggro paladin

so basically everyone has to play aggro paladin

literally 1 day after expansion has been out and the meta is already stale as fuck

Worst part about shudderwock shaman to me isn't shudderwork, it's all the stalling/board clear cards they have which makes matches against them take a while even if you win.

And I don't know, I've been able to beat shudderwock and aggro paladin with my fun tempo rogue deck. I might even craft the other rogue legendary guy now

But the meta right now just swings so much in favor of Paladin and Warlock its a little crazy. The number 3 class might be... Priest? Druid? Rogue? But all of those are just so far behind those two

I have 13000 dust but I refuse to craft anything in the first two weeks.

And I don't have much to make a competitive deck.

So I just went full Liam.

...and it surprisingly works out in this world of non-optimized decks.

I mean, it's just super aggressive secret pally with like 16 one costs and Liam at the top end to fix the late game problem. But I'll take it for now.

Also I guess I kinda like Tempo Mage right now but I probably know how to play it more than anyone here, the Crow is a very good card and you can probably use cheap spells for it and even run Tony on the side to burn your opponent in late game

My vote for worst card is Wretched Tiller, which they printed despite it being worse than even nerfed Leper Gnome.

I don't think even early it's any good in arena. Some classes can just ping it and then you're down a card. For the others a 1/1 is not going to help you win the board, and unlike most other 1 mana cards it doesn't generate any additional value or give tempo. Technically it's probably better in arena than angry chicken or grimscale oracle, but at least those have possible uses in constructed.

I played against this deck yesterday as warlock and had no problem beating it. I just made sure to save a Twisting Nether for Alanna and not to tap myself into oblivion. Then again, I was playing control lock, not cubelock.

Forcing them to ping it causes them to lose tempo though, especially if they coin to do so
