i also faced quite a lot of baku hunter decks and like. I don't know if it's good or not yet. Like not having secrets for paladin is a huge downside.

odd paladin is a bigger problem for me personally because the 1 mana 1/1 taunt with divine shield is on an absolutely broken power level when competing with other fast decks, and without alley cat hunter no longer even has a card that has a remote chance of trading evenly with it

but my overall winrate against paladin in general is super low and I'd just be annoyed to see more of them in the meta. even, odd, or just plain old control or aggro paladin... all would be a problem for me and lead to a 'rock paper scissors' style feeling that makes me enjoy ladder less.

I also think Glass Knight is a good card? I mean it's early so it's hard to say. But like even when i don't get the effect I can drop it on 4 or 3 with coin if I dont have call (or against warlock when i dont want to play into aoe) and like have a sticky minion against them. After that I can buff it out of range of stuff or just use a true silver or call into the life steal minion or something. I do think though it's like one of the less essential cards to make the deck work.

I might just play Odd Paladin to get me to Legend. By then the meta will settle and optimized deck lists for some of the stuff I'm interested in will start coming out.

Personally, without Mistress, I was having trouble finding things to do in the early turns as Cubelock. I would fill up my hand and need to dump something like naked Umbra or Prince 3 in the early turns just to clear out my hand against the slow decks I was facing. Maybe I just need to add mountain giants to my deck, since I was using a mix without them last expansion.

My first game with Odd Paladin was against a Shaman that went 3/8 taunt followed by a lightning storm into another lightning storm and I still won on turn 6.

Never mind, after 4 wins I stopped drawing anything, plus I was against nothing but taunt decks. Only I could play aggro and have this problem.

So I moved from hunter to paladin, and OF COURSE I see nothing but warlocks. Not a skill game, never will be a skill game. I would trade ALL of my pack luck if it meant I got to play the same damn game as everyone else. This shit is fucking stupid.

I opened some packs with gold and got Face Collector, so with both Rogue meme legendaries I set out to build some Thief Rogue jank in Standard. Except....all the good burgle cards have rotated out, so the only way to get cards from the other class are Blink Fox, Hallucination, and Pick Pocket. No reduction payoff with Peddler anymore, either. My Tesses have been so sad.

Apprentice is Shaman-only, otherwise I'd run it. Cauldron just seems bad, but I did see someone running it in Odd Paladin, which seems pretty decent (and hilarious).

Ysera and Lich King cards also count, and I had mild success with those, but the deck is already molasses slow in the class least equipped to deal with going slow.

Blink Fox is amazing, artwork wise and card wise I think. Will probably see play in any Rogue deck that's not Quest.

Tess is cool but Rogue's gameplan probably doesn't necessarily need her that much, she kinda reminds me of Valeera.

I think the card I want to experiment a bit is Glinda, think a zoo that runs Sea Giants or Penguins can be really dirty with her, and if she sticks you can do something crazy with like Abusive maybe

Steed's been in this weird spot where (to paraphrase ADWCTA) a lot of players snap pick it over equally good or even better cards in its pool, like Vinecleaver, so it sees more play than it probably should. Though it's still kinda busted, mind.

A number of top players have publicly said that literally no one's running shabberwocky at high legend. Dunno if that's because of an overprevalence of aggro at high legend at the moment, or if high-ranked players don't "respect" the deck for some reason, but there you have it. My own view is that it feels like you don't have enough draw for a combo deck? But *shrug*.

Meanwhile, Baku Paladin is... something. Raid Leader in a tier 1 deck I'm dying.

I think the kneejerk meme answer is Purify. But that's more like which card reveal had the most backlash ever. Not sure about literal worst.

Literally 3 deck results on hearthpwn searching title contains "even" and deck contains Dinomancy. And 1 of those 3 is just a coincidence that was posted in 2017.

Savagery? Poisoned Blade? Cards like Moorabi are bad but at least they occasionally do something fun. And at least it's a 4/4 body if nothing else.

No way savagery can be the answer, right? Literal worst case is "1 mana, deal 1 damage to a minion", which is not good but certainly not worst card ever. I mean there are those cases where it's a dead card because you have 0 attack, but there are plenty of spells that can be dead under certain circumstances.

More often its 3 mana, deal 1 damage, then maybe attack a minion for 1 and take the associated damage to face.

I think around the time people were upset about purify blizzard insinuated that there was some 'worst' card but nobody knew what it was and no one had guessed it at the time either. kinda annoyed me actually. that is interesting data that I would have been curious to see, but blizzard just sits on it instead of revealing it.

we have cards like temporus now where you play it and instantly lose the game... buuuttt sometimes you don't, so it's hard to say if that's really the worst.

also, to truly answer the "worst card ever?" question is complicated. do you care about only constructed, or both constructed and arena? or just arena? that makes it rather complex if you include both.

Random shatters weren't that bad, though, since you're usually playing it in decks with freeze effects.

My take for worst would be Magma Rager. Charge needs to be on the list too, though I confess I remembered that card exists only by googling "worst Hearthstone cards."

I'd define "worst" as "There is no time when you want this in your deck in any format ever, and its very presence makes random effects worse."

In a sense.

Like if the condition is "fill your deck with random cards", then yeah, anything that's pretty niche is going to be terrible.

But situationally, almost every card is useful. Like you don't put Savagery in a deck without Claw and Bite. You don't put Ancient Watcher in a deck without silence or cards that can give it taunt.

It's a really tough question!

I think I'd have to answer some obviously bad vanilla minion. Worgen Greaser or something where there's just no reason to ever put it in a deck. Millhouse definitely has joke value, even Totemic Might saw play in dedicated totem decks.
