FFV Banner 1 is still there, if you can get Kelger or Dorgann's USBs they wreck Hydra and potentially Ixion, plus the native boosts.

Looks like I have some decent ice, lightning, holy and dark stuff.

Water and wind are ok.

Fire and earth are not great.

I'm only good on Fire and Water, which ironically is the banner I want to draw from most. I wish Yuffie stuff reappeared more.

I feel like Ice should be doable now between Snow Chain, Ayame Burst, Lulu Ultra and my stacked Ice Magicite. I need to try Fenrir. Probably will later today. Hoping I can sub 30 it without using Rinoa.

Rest all kinda need help. Hoping to get passable Earth + Holy from the upcoming FF2 banner.

Lightning I have an okay Lightning with full record dive + Ultra, and not much else. Rank 4 Tritoch + Rydia might be okay support.
Darkness I don't have much but it has a lot of characters I like so it shouldn't be hard to get something decent between the upcoming Dark Knight Cecil and Seymour banners
Wind I'm awfully tempted to draw from the upcoming banner 3 to beef up Zack + Cloud.

You get Sentinel's Grimoire for free later down the line, plus you're going to be locked into using Wall or VoF as RW in higher content.

Hm can't quite sub 30 Fenrir.

Could probably do it with an Ayame or Lulu dive. Not sure I want to though. Ayame is probably better to dive if I do one? But Lulu uses lower priority motes

Two pulls... first pull, Rinoa CSB (my most wanted item on the banner) and Kain BSB (non dupe, but not a high priority). Thought a while about whether it was still worth it to pull, logically probably not but my heart said yes. Second pull, two disco balls and two rainbows! Lightning LMR (which I really wanted), Enkindler (my only dupe), Kain CSB, and Squall AOSB! Great pulls.

I still really want Lightning AOSB, and I would like the glints + Squall BSB2. But I think I need to stop here - I was prepared to do 3 pulls and get less than this.

The Kain stuff is a nice bonus - the BSB alone wouldn't get used, but with the CSB/BSB combo he can replace Shantotto and the zero airtime command on the BSB means he can bring lifesiphon instead of devoting two slots to dragoon abilities.

Hm. Kinda heavily considering pulling on this. All the Lightning and Kain relics look pretty good. Squall relics are decent too I guess. The Rinoa relics + Squall glint (unless I get some other Squall goodies with the latter) are duds though.

Are there any good lightning banners coming down the line after this? The element not the character.

2/11 (Lightning Burst, Rinoa Burst)
4/11 (Lightning USB dupe, Lightning Glint, Squall Glint, Rinoa Burst)

Not terribly pleased with this. 5/6 of my relics drawn were from the pool of 4 relics I explicitly wanted to avoid but what can you do. At least Squall armor has ice boost on it.

The decision to dive Ayame becomes easy, at least with this Squall armor + Squall coming up dead.

So how good is that 20x damage that Lightning's AOSB brings? It sounds like like an absolute world beater for any lightning-weak boss.

I'm definitely pulling at least once; I have three dupes (Squall LM/Rinoa BSB/Lightning BSB) and I'd probably not use the Glints but everything else I would be happy with. Still have to check what's on the other banners though, plus I''m already saving at least two pulls for TGC USB

Also thanks for reminding me I have to update tracking my elements, will be useful when I finally stop being lazy and start tackling magicites

On the plus side Ayame record dive with that squall armor let me beat Fenrir in 29s

Kind of a close shave, but not that close when you consider Ayame got slowed by the first withering winds

I did 1 draw here and got Lightning Glint and Kain BSB.

There was a time when I wanted Kain BSB, but that was a year ago. As for the Glint, I have a hard time imagining a scenario where I'll want to use this instead of her USB.

Holy hell, I'm trying to take on Kraken with my new party and he's dishing out WAY more damage than before. I feel like I should be able to sub 30 but I keep losing characters or getting someone frozen and losing my damage output.

Ugh, now I'm torn between trying to draw on this banner, or for TGC USB. Three dupes on this banner, five dupes on banner 3. But I really want TGC USB.... Ugh, time to do a 50 pull, then try to scrounge together 50 mythril again in a couple days.

Shaved my Fenrir time down to 22 seconds, but I bet I could speed it up if I put Squall as primary DPS instead of Ayame and entrust him first instead (though Ayame has been doing just fine). Squall's AOSB did about 68k each hit (with en-ice), though I couldn't tell if they were crits.

Edit: Also, my goal is still to get 4 of each 3* magicite so I can at least have them all at level 80. Though it's a bit hard when Fenrir REFUSES TO DROP WING RAPTOR!!!

Ugh ugh ugh. Totally failed to get sub 30 on Kraken, my time isn't any better than it was before with Shantotto. It makes me want to draw again for Lighting's AOSB, but the odds are not in my favor there. Anyway I'm done collecting 4* water magicite now... time to try ice.

Bleck I tried Tiamat and I can only get him around 1/3 of his life around the :30 mark, and then he just gets stupid op after that, guess I am going to need Squall's BSB2 or USB2 (or Ysayle's USB somehow) if I even want to beat this thing.

Well at least I've got other 4* magicite misery to coup with.

Fenrir must've heard me, as he's dropped Wing Raptor the last two times. I can kill him reliably at 21-22 seconds, and I'm sure I could find a more efficient way to do it also. Two more Wing Raptors, and Fenrir can join Sealion as 3* magicites I don't have to run anymore.

Lol, my first ever use of an AOSB was a total whiff. Fenrir used Savage Withering Winds after I input the command, and all three hits missed. Most anticlimactic thing ever.

(I still beat him in 21.37 though, which made it funny instead of infuriating)

Oh that wasnt actually Squall Glint, it was Squall LMR.

Currently sitting at 42 mythril so Im probably going to be in a cycle of save up 50 mythril -> spend all mythril for the last few elemental banners. I was hoping to pull on each of them once.

multiplayer Ozma was fun. i did most of the damage myself with Orlandu and Vivi, since i have none of the useful utility SBs like Eiko/Edge/Rosa. both were able to cap; Orlandu needed chain, Vivi just needed his trance mode and USB buffs.

i imagine the single player 220 won't be as fun for me. well, maybe if i can sustain instant cast and last stand with Raijin. and i doubt i will even bother trying the last one.

I think the most annoying part with Ozma is that almost everyone forgets to bring breaks so I had to have Onion Knight battery with Full Break. Really wish they'd get rid of those medal requirements.

That new wind celerity skill comes out tomorrow morning! Celerity is finally good for something other than Power Chain! And I can make use of that doublecast celerity LM on Onion Knight.

Did half of the eternal crystals event. Nix/Stiria was quite easy, as Marche, Orlandu, and Raines nuked her down. Barba was a tad more annoying, but mainly because I had to wait for her to go into tornado so Fang could knock her out of it, and Squall and Ayame could go back to ice-murdering her.

Yeah, I'm trying to hold out for the wind banner. Earth Chain would be really nice to have but overall this banner doesn't impress me.

I'm looking towards the FF2 banner with Minwu to solve my Earth woes as a consolation prize between Maria and Emperor-- though if I got Minwu's stuff efficiently I wouldn't draw for them I assume that won't happen. Earth Chain would be nice but using Ingus would not be so it's not really an appealing option. At some point down the line I'd like to get Galuf's or Red's instead.

Not sure how much I want to spend on the Wind Banner. I'd really like some Zack and Cloud stuff, and still have 530 Mythril, but there are a lot of realm banners I want coming up between FFII (Minwu half) and FFX (both) coming in the next month, as well as FFIV (Dark Knight Cecil) and FFVI (Edgar) a few months out. Also I kinda want to give a small effort to getting some Yuffie stuff from the Water/Fire banner despite the Terra stuff being very undesirable.

I too am waiting for Earth Saber before I beat Ixion, I want to replace Bartz with Dorgann but I don't want to hone Earthbringer to r5 when Earth Saber is just around the corner (and I need Marche for Quickcasts since Dorgann's pretty slow) I just wish I also had Marche's LMR so he could do more damage. In the meantime I'm getting pretty consistent sub30s on Midgardsormr (well consistent despite that every DPS relies double casts, at least I can hit the 99 cap pretty quick now.) And got my 6 magicite clear Keystone rewards along with 6 earth crystals :D now I just wait until next April for the monthly 20 to reset to get some more.

I was disappointed with the damage Earth Bringer was doing for Orlandu even at full power. Each hit was somewhere between 5-6k so the total was maybe 27k. I'm not sure I want to use Earth Saber now with a lower multiplier.
