free-to-play, low-spec games for PC

Advokaiser 03/14/18 6:46:49 PM #1:	With the success of Doki Doki Literature Club, and having recently installed Steam for the first time to play VVVVVV, I was wondering what could be good to play on PC. So what better thing to do than ask for your recommendations? I won't play DDLC though, since I'm not into anything horror-related (with the only "exception" being Castlevania), and since I've always been a console gamer, I'm sure there are tons of games I've missed over the years. I'd also prefer you recommend me something that is free-to-play first (since I have a very limited budget), and also taking into account that I only have a Pentium 4 desktop and an Intel Core Duo laptop, so they can only run games up to 2007 and 2010, respectively. Thanks in advance. I'm working my way to add Half-Life 1 and 2, maybe Planescape: Torment, and maybe the Diablo games, as well as the first Elder Scrolls games and Doom (can't find those last ones, though). You can use pretty much any controller you please. And this is coming from someone who can't handle horror well either. I guess I can shamelessly plug Mobius Final Fantasy for a Free to Play game. They aren't free, but Fata Morgana is $25, and Higurashi is like 5-10 per episode or something like that.
