It's pretty fair to not like Mia, and I say that as someone who likes her quite well. I've definitely talked with people who don't like her because of how she shows up and gives the player hints; some people take that as a jab at their intelligence.
Playable Mia is solid but of the five playable characters in the series (if I'm not forgetting anyone?) she's the one I enjoy playing as the least. I like the fact that in 1-5, there's a choice where all three answers are correct. That happens in investigations sometimes, but I feel like that never happens in trials! Also, 1-5 is probably the only case where they actually had me believing the assistant character did it. They really pursued that angle hard and sold me on it.
also I like the fact that Lana Skye says testimony won't work when reviewing SL-9 because both the culprit and the victim are dead, and Phoenix is just like, "Well, we certainly can't get dead people to testify." I mean --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I haven't been worrying about wrong answer responses in keeping track of lines here, but there's one here in 1-5 I had to get because it's so great if you pick the wrong evidence for Neil Marshall's dying message.

Fun Fact: During the "Where are they now?" segments during the credits, you can sprinkle fingerprint powder on the bottom screen and blow it away to reveal a portrait of the character who is speaking. also 1-3, 1-4, and 1-5 have been pretty consistent on the attorney/assistant overall line percentages so far
35-40%~ for the attorney 15-20%~ for the assistant E1-4 isn't that far off either, although Edgeworth skews a little higher (45%) because Franziska isn't the assistant for the entire case. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

It took Edgeworth having a big role outside of court in all three segments for him to just barely beat the Judge in 1-5. I'm curious to see what his line count is in 2-4. The Judge has had the second most lines in nearly every trial segment thus far. I think the only one that beat him was 1-3's first trial day because my word Oldbag The assistants definitely cut way down on the talking during trials compared to investigations. --- ... It'd also have to be a case with a relatively small cast and that isn't very long because they spread the wealth around too much in bigger cases. The cases that jumped to mind most were 2-2 and E1-2 as possibilities. If there's another possibility out there I can't think of it.
Another thought - every case is definitely going to have its main character as the top line count (let's not count E2-3)... except possibly 4-4. I wonder if Phoenix has more lines in 4-4 than Apollo does. ... Copied to Clipboard!

1-5 might be Gumshoe's biggest case in the OT lineswise (excluding ones where he is a partner) and he only gets 300. he has less testimonies in AA1 than 3-1 Dahlia too! still liking my Maya pick, though it's gonna be tough to stay ahead with how wordy AAI2 is.

Man, Pearl's intro is so great. She's so stone-faced and won't even talk to Phoenix the first few times you see her, and Morgan sort of conditions you into thinking her daughter will be a brat, too.
