that's part of what makes Will's testimony so great

you know everything he says is right and all the conclusions he jumps to are correct but you have to play dirty to keep the trial going

3-5 has two of the best investigation days generally, certainly both in the top tier, and I say that as someone who considers the case slightly overrated (still great, though).

also my favorite thing about Phoenix's "are you saying all baseballs are suspicious because they have stitches?!" isn't the sheer absurdity of the analogy but the fact that Will falls for it

yeah it probably shouldn't be hyped, but seeing someone shut her down finally is really something after all the whipping.

I always forget about the Powers testimony until it happens. it's definitely one of the weaker parts of trial day 2.

Pearl's ownage of Franziska is probably a little more satisfying, honestly, aside from Godot dropping a "Know your role and shut your mouth" reference.

so I put some thought into this and I think I really dislike Will Powers's 2-4 role. everything else in the case is so laser focused and Powers's random testimony just doesn't fit at all. Lotta fits and Oldbag is a bit part but Powers belongs nowhere near that trial. it's so out of nowhere.

Eh, Will's testimony is just an easy way to break into all the new facts you've learned since the previous trial day, and it works because he's a friendly face and means no ill will toward Phoenix or Matt (or anyone at all, really). Plus, he's totally clueless as to what's really going on, so he has no biases.

I think 2-4 is Lotta at her most annoying because all she does is whine about her camera and accuse Phoenix of stealing it
