I could write a much longer list thanks to anxiety but:

1. Cancer - save for the feelings I'm getting in my head cancer does indeed run in my family.
2. Heart attack - My dad had one, he survived but with these heart palpation's I get and chest pain I can't help but think this will happen sooner rather than later.
3. Brain tumour - Tied into the first one due to my constant head pressure. I really should have a MRI scan done just to put my mind at ease a little more. The doctors don't seem concerned though so perhaps it's all in my head... literally.

Probably not suicide even though I'm not afraid of death at all & I often wish I was dead. I really don't like pain though & every method of suicide sounds either painful or cumbersome... Although, if I'm gonna die it probably doesn't matter how hard it was to get a gun or something...

I was thinking maybe I could just slit my wrists the other day, but then I realized that could take around an hour to actually work & would most likely be extremely painful. Just seems like a poor use of my time.

If I had to take a guess, I'll probably just die of old age. I've had a pretty safe & uneventful life, I've never even broken a bone, I don't really see me getting murdered & I hardly ever leave the house so that severely cuts down on accidental deaths like car crashes, rogue meteors & such. Although, a rogue meteor could still technically hit my house... Or maybe I'll just glitch out of reality one day, who can tell.

I've spent a lot of time over the years researching suicide methods and the odds of success. Common things like slitting the wrists have an incredibly small overall chance of actually killing a person. Most people who attempt in most ways end up alive and worse off than before. There's only one method with acceptably high odds as far as I'm concerned.

My list is probably

Cancer - because I hate cancer so much and that just seems about right
Accidental death - because I'm really likely to have a slip and fall or to get accidentally killed by a hospital or the police
Suicide

No reason to believe my death will be anything noteworthy. Looking at everyone's responses so far, I think sepsis needs a better PR manager, though. It's a super common way to die.

my personal bet for cause of death. either one will suck, be painful and scary and then click, the light's off, please insert a quarter to try again.

Problem with Sepsis is it's root cause is always something else which led to the sepsis itself. As such you can't really blame it on just sepsis. It's always 'he went septic because <insert reason here>"

Post-surgical procedure sepsis because the surgeon accidentally left his wristwatch, wallet, cellphone, house keys and contact lens case inside your abdominal cavity. Betcha.

Right now -- rather than hitting more age-related stuff -- statistically it'll probably be traffic accident, murder, or fire. After I reach a certain age, it's most likely heart disease, stroke, or cancer.

In general, my likelihood of death should be relatively low since my health is in pretty good shape. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, engage in risky behavior (well, anymore), play loud music, etc. And I walk most days. The biggest knock against me might be that I don't get the recommended levels of sleep -- I average 3-5 hours weeknights -- although sleeping 7 hours usually leaves me feeling kinda out of it.

Thank God it's not just me. Sleeping for more than 6 hours doesn't make me feel rested and refreshed, it makes me feel like I'm recovering from heavy sedation.

3. Catching the flu with my body already stressed from the worries of how much longer my friends and family can afford to survive under this country's administration, developing pneumonia and just letting it take me so I don't have to worry about any of this crap anymore
