All I know is that it's a dating simulator that turns into a horror game at some point, you write poems, and someone dies. Also it's free and even my terrible apartment internet can download it quickly.

The music that started playing when Yuri and Natsuki argued is great, it sounds like a Disney ride music.

So far it's Yuri > Monika > Sayori > Natsuki

However, to be fair to Natsuki, I just don't like anime girls who are super petite like that. I wonder what I would think of her if I thought she was as attractive as Yuri and Monika.

I told Sayori that I love her, but it only made her feel more depressed.

To be honest, I'm a little weirded out by saying that I know what's good for her better than she does, but I guess I've never dealt with a depressed person in real life anyway.

I freaked out a little when Sayori's dead body was hanging from the ceiling. The main character started talking about how he only had one chance, did I screw up by playing this all in one sitting and not saving ever?

I see the title screen has replaced Sayori with a combination of the other three girls, and the New Game sign is all messed up. Gonna press it and see what happens.

Well that was unexpected. When the game restarted, instead of Sayori greeting me, the game just sort of glitched up and restarted without Sayori in the picture at all. Now I'm friendless and Monika recruits me.

She also glitches up weirdly for a second.

I like where this is going.

I guess kind of spoilers but not really?

The game deletes your saves at that point so you wouldn't have been able to go try the other way anyway.

There's a bit you won't see because of it, but it's not a big deal.

At this point, if you try to load your game, it states that Sayori's character file is missing or corrupt and it will then start a new game anyway. Afterwards, it just straight up deletes all the save files.

At first I thought the message was the little bit of white instead of the dot that wasn't fully filled in, but then it switched to I LOVE YOU.

And then I was even more surprised when my Steam friend logged in to play Friday the 13th: The Game while I read the message. For the briefest moment, I thought it was part of DDLC.

Okay, I remember Monika's first poem was about looking through a hole in the wall to see someone, and her first poem THIS TIME is about how the guy isn't looking at her. She's also the one who keeps making fourth wall references.

I'm 100% sure Monika is up to something.

The game got a legitimate frightened yelp out of me when Monika appeared in the middle of the screen during the argument where everything gets staticy and glitchy. This is great.

Aaaaand Monika is saying I should spend less time with them and more with her.

Yuri says something off-screen to Natsuki that makes her run off, insists that she didn't mean it, and when she tries to get Monika to leave so she can talk to me privately, the screen glitches and I'm in the poetry book part.

I did not expect that.
