I dunno if it'd have been a better show. The entire concept hinges upon it being an action show, so you'd need to change so much of what makes the whole. The concept could probably be applied well to SoL, but it'd be much trickier.

I know, I was mostly kidding. All of those ED scenarios looked amusing and I was sad they never happened. It was kind of like the OP for Madoka painting it as a cute show when none of that happened either, except other magical girl shows where that stuff happens already exist. Anime characters having fun in the 'real' world should be an anime is what I'm saying, I guess

Well I was hoping Marchen Madchen would be LWA 2.0 and instead I got something pretty lame. I'll try to give it another episode but damn this MC is dull and the world seems uninspired. Pretty much the exact opposite of LWA!

It was pretty good, yeah! I think season 2 would hvae potential to be amazing though. Manga is still ongoing, so who knows.

Ahhh I I thought it was fine, and some of the jokes hit. Lower on the totem pole for the season, but still on my queue.

Zero was the peak, so if you weren't super into that then it's totally understandable. You shouldn't feel obligated to watch a show.

No, but I'm pretty sure I'd like it better. I think it's more to do with how ufotable tells it's stories than anything that bugs me. Shame because they have some great animation talent that I love to see.

Any reason why it isn't on Steam yet?

I do think that slice of life shenanigans would've been more interesting than some of the stuff in the third quarter of ReCreators.

Yona of the Dawn was awesome. Basically a show that just kept getting better. Looking forward to checking out the manga someday. Red Hair Snow White was good too, but not as good.

F/SN is not on Steam for reasons unknown. It's strange considering how much they're trying to promote the franchise in the West.

So I watched the first episode of Violet Evergarden

I watched more new episodes of the season. How to Keep a Mummy is super cute. Maerchen Maedchen didn't get quite far enough in one episode for me to form much of an opinion on it but I'm definitely intrigued. Lastly, Ms. Koizumi continues to suck, god damn. I actually skipped past some of the ramen porn just because I couldn't take it anymore. I'm breaking my own rule and dropping this at episode two.

I also finished Gamers! It was entertaining but by the end I was kind of glad it was over, the misunderstandings became stressful after awhile. Also that last episode was... weird.

The second episode of Katana Maidens addressed every lingering concern I had after the first one, so that's cool. I have a feeling that this anime is going to be really good. It's my third favorite of the season so far after Yuru Camp and citrus.
