I feel like a spork is a good choice here. Prongs to cut into the biscuit, yet still a spoon area to hold the gravy

If I'm working on something non-stop and my hands are dirty but want to eat cookies or chips, I use mini sugar tongs.
It looks weird when people see me using them but they're great. Better than any other utensil.

An alternative would be chopsticks, if you're adept enough to use them.

Does gravy mean something else in Europe too? I know Chicago Italians think gravy means tomato sauce, maybe he's got a dumb alternate definition for it too.

How big the hell are your biscuits?
You all make it sound like you're eating something the size of melons.
This is the size of the tongs I use:



And just so you know which biscuit and gravy I'm talking about it's this:

(gravy on the side, not one of those where gravy is poured all over the biscuits, that's just a mess)

Just use the tongs to pick up the biscuit and dip it in gravy. Simple, no?
If you can't even do a simple thing like that with tongs, don't bother trying with chopsticks.
You'll probably end up with a mess.

The tongs work with any food that can't easily pick up with a spoon or fork.
Works with chocolate chip cookies and potato chips too.

See where I live the only way it's made (unless you request different of course) is with it smothered all over the biscuits already so I suggested my way with that assumption and wouldn't be surprised if others thought that as well. I personally iddn't even know just dipping the biscuits in the gravy was a thing that people did. Not because it doesn't make sense, it does, it's just something I've never thought about before.

If the biscuits are served on the side then I dunk them by hand until the biscuits are all gone, after which I use a fork. If the gravy is served on top of the biscuits then I use a fork the entire way. All of this is moot since I haven't had time to eat biscuits and gravy in years.

It's a breakfast item. My morning schedule is tight. I don't eat it any later than that.
