I'm using a deck that's far from tier 1, because I love playing jade rogue. I'll share that since you asked, (although it's probably not optimized,) but I've seen some other rogues using her in tempo and miracle variants that have gotten good value just hitting cards like Gadgetzan and Nightmare with her.

Main problem with the deck is that it doesn't grab the early board very strongly, but it does depend on small minions initially...and has no taunts or life gain outside of MoM and the DK. But knowing that, I've occasionally beaten aggressive or burn opponents just by repeatedly copying Mistress. Against midrange/tempo decks, the lack of big removal is the biggest hindrance, but not much I can do about that in rogue short of running Deathwing. My pre-K&C version ran Vanish, but if you don't have Valeera out and a way to swing the board immediately on 4 mana, vanish isn't even good because you just surrender tempo again.

But the deck is a lot of fun to play. There's nothing quite like having a jade swarmer out and one other notable minion like the Fal'dorei Strider, then your opponent plays a big target like a creeper, and you drop Sonya, suicide your guys, immediately replay both, backstab your swarmer, replay it again, maybe even shuriken it after that...and playing Sonya once Valeera is up is often a hilarious way to win the endgame. 1 swarmer instantly becomes 2 swarmers in hand, which are 4 if played across separate turns, giving you enough jade value to win those fatigue matchups. Plus Zola sometimes plays a starring role in moments like that. A shadowcaster that only costs 3 is surprisingly good.

to contribute to this discussion I already missed I'd say Dane is pretty great simply because he fills the niche of mostly playing Wild, while all of the other popular streamers mostly or exclusively play Standard.

I like Kibler and Toast but both in small doses. I feel like their positive energy is too much for me to handle at times. Firebat is one of my favorite ones just because he's usually chill and has very muted reactions even to big things. and he's also very skilled at the game so watching him do high level plays can be fun.

Going into the final boss I get a bad treasure selection, had to take Magic Mirror. Then got a fifth Jade Swarmer, a fifth Jade Spirit and a fourth Aya.

Togwaggle. Well, shit. That's the worst one I could get, even with this deck I might just get wrecked if things go badly early on.

Edit: Togwaggle trolled me all game long. Candle early with two spell power minions on board to clear my board. Then he silenced and destroyed my whole board, shutting down more jades. Then he made the jades choose sides and took two of them. And then I won because this deck was stupid.

Yeah, I'm subscribed to Trump, Kibler, Toast, and Dane, but I only watch Trump's if he's trying something unique, and save Kibler or Toast for when I'm eating or working or something and need something to watch in the meantime.

When Dane uploads something, I'm dropping everything and checking it out. I don't watch anyone's streams, though. I'd just go play if I wanted to waste that much time. I wanna see fireworks dammit.

Wow, you got to the 20/20 artwork. Impressive. I think I've only ever seen that once before, playing as rogue. And that's with losing a lot of jade production.

Silence and thieving are two of the biggest things that hurt jade rogue. Because it's jades are dependent on deathrattles, which druid and shaman generally aren't, it's decidedly more vulnerable to shenanigans and has to be played very carefully in certain match-ups. Plus it has no taunts and one fewer jade card. But it's also, imo, a lot more powerful than either when the chips fall the right way. Giving yourself double deathrattle is a fine and really easy way to leverage that. (And double battlecry for Aya and spirit.)

Umbra was the mvp, obviously not including the 2x treasures that made everything possible. Bosses never really prioritized killing it and it worked with the double deathrattles, so with Umbra on board Aya would immediately put four jades out.

Toast is a pretty socially awkward guy who likes to poke fun about how inept he is at interaction with people in general, and the opposite sex in particular. He doesn't encourage his chat when it makes comments about how he should make moves on girls he streams with sometimes like Hafu, But he does make a lot of jokes at his own expense on the subject.

He gives off the impression of a shy nerd who's afraid of actually interacting with people, but I've never seen anything to indicate he'd actually do anything "creepy"

I've watched a lot of casual streams and videos from events and the overarching story is that Toast is somewhat passive about interacting with people but a lot of the more socially savvy personalities like Natalie and Brian Kibler seem to make it their mission to draw Toast out of his shell and get him to be part of all the socializing. For his part, he isn't too resistant but is clearly just not comfortable behaving in an extroverted manner. He's pretty much a wallflower, but I think that will change as he gets more used to being in situations like that. It seems pretty clear he just hasn't had a lot of experience in social situations like parties IRL before. With people like the Kiblers looking out for him, I think he'll just get better at that sort of thing over time

Also lately I've seen Toast stream with Renniesaurus for Battlerite, and with Pokimane, LilyPIchu, and some others in League. He's also moved into a streamer house with those league streamers. I haven't heard anything bad happening with any of these people so... where does all this "stalker" stuff come from?

After the Rogue struggle, Paladin is one and done. Silver Hand swarm into whatever that 5/5 lion with divine shield is called pretty much single handedly took out everyone. The only even remotely close match was the guy who throws bombs at you all game long.

Went to my local fireside gathering again today, this time there were a lot more people since it was a free tournament, so there were a lot more matches. The overall format was still Conquest, bring 4 decks/ban 1. Ended up being 3 pools with 3 rounds of swiss, with pool winners going into a finals bracket, plus a consolation tournament for runners up.

I brought KFT Jade Druid, Aggro Paladin, Dragon Priest, and Control Warlock (the cube list, without Umbra/Rin). Lost my first match 3-2 because my Druid refused to work properly against any of Highlander Priest, Tempo Rogue, and Zoolock. That kept me out of the finals bracket in the end, but I 3-0'd my other 4 matches and won the consolation bracket. Takeaways: Aggro Paladin was super strong against anything that isn't control warlock, Dragon Priest doesn't have the specific card problems (not drawing Raza/Anduin) that I get a lot in Highlander, Carnivorous Cube is stupidly strong, and I won at least 2 games off of clutch Yoggs in Druid.

Chess was the hardest for me on heroic, because when I went back and finished all of the heroics they changed something in the AI and it stopped making a certain play. A lot of draws were just impossible to win with. Medivh was also a lot harder after they changed whatever they changed about the AI but at least you never knew the game was over based on what cards weren't in your opening hand.
