Dungeon run with Rogue beat! I took mill at every choice and ended up with 7 coldlight oracles and 4 vanishes. The entire run was hilarious.

Well, shit. I was at 7/8 and left the game while I had to go somewhere real quick, but I was gone too long apparently and Hearthstone closed and gave me the loss. Didn't think I was away that long.

83 packs opened.

5 legendaries (+ initial free weapon)
17 epics (3 in duplicate)
Nearly a double set of rares, but completely whiffed on hunter cards somehow
2045 dust off extras. Most opened card was Kobold Apprentice (11 plus a golden).

Legendaries were Twig of the World Tree, Dragon Soul (free), Skull of the Man'ari, Rin the First Disciple, Woecleaver, and Zola the Gorgon. So 4/6 were legendary weapons.

Double-battlecry Archbishop is neat. As is double-battlecry double-C'Thuns who were both sitting in my hand.

And now my deck has a passive where every minion that costs more than 5 now costs just 5. And I have 3 C'Thuns.

Haven't really been playing much but I came back for this. Got Mage weapon from login, bought 21 packs with gold, got Hunter weapon.

Now, I haven't paid TOO much attention to spoiler season, but I'm told the Hunter weapon is a pretty spicy meme. Unfortunately, I opened zero "To My Side!"s.

I have no idea how I managed to win with this deck. I was completely aimless up until I got the passive "your minions that cost more than (5) now cost (5)", and then I just picked the biggest minions every time. The only reason I beat the final boss, which was the warlock quest with the passive beam hero power, was because of a Baron Geddon I got off of a Tortollan Forager early on.

My obligatory "Why did I get so many of these?" were 4 epic Astral Tiger out of about ten total epics, and a whopping 17 Ironwood Golems. On two other strange notes, I got the entire Mage collection just from packs but I didn't get a single copy of the Priest common, Gilded Gargoyle.

Edit: I used 1,800 dust to create two Twilight Acolyte and two Hooked Reaver. And two other epics I already forgot. Final tally...

I have had more fun in this mode than I've had in regular Hearthstone matches all year. Priest is nothing but absurd shenanigans, and the types of games you get to play with Priest are nothing short of absolutely ridiculous.

My first run with Dungeon run I got destroyed in Boss 5 who was the double battle cry guy. He did Dirty Rat into MCT. I wasn't even mad. Seems like a fun mode.

I had a really good Warrior brewing in my latest run until I ran into something that started the game with five secrets, seemed to have nothing in hand but secrets and got a 3/3 every time I triggered one. Good lord that game was over quick.

Also what the fuck, I just had a Dungeon boss suicide. In the middle of his turn. He was at 15hp and had just used his hero power and still had 3 mana left, then all of a sudden, he exploded. Anyone know what that's all about?

Finally completed my first run, with mage! Went full on elementals, which turns out to be pretty good with frost lich jaina. My final boss was...Xol, I think? The beam one. I fatigued it to death >.> lifesteal > 3/2 imps. Also baron geddon > 3/2 imps

Okay seriously how the fuck are you supposed to beat the darkness? I just lost to him and he had 92 health with a board full of free 5/5s.

Got the hunter weapon as my free legendary. Guess who has a I Hunt Alone deck now. It's not very good.

Dungeon run is pretty fun though. Cleared it with Paladin first time through and had some pretty fun games as Priest and Warlock too. More fun than I thought it would be.

I gave up on Hearthstone years ago but occasionally check in to see how it's doing, and I gotta say Dungeon Run is my favorite thing they've done to the game in a long time.

I went 8/8 on Warlock on my first try, was actually kinda easy with Giants, massive hand size, upgrading my hero power on turn 1 and starting with 2 mana crystals.

Second run I went 8/8 with Paladin, that was a good amount tougher. Thought I was gonna lose to the final boss (discarded 2 of my cards every turn, what the hell?!), but having Ragnaros the Lightlord plus an armada of Divine Shields managed to somehow save me.

I fully expect to get roasted on some of these other classes. I don't recognize half the cards.

First dungeon run I finished (completely) was with rogue. Jade rogue with double deathrattles is total ez-mode. Final boss was way easier than the one I got on warrior, which helped.

I'm glad you guys seem to be having fun with it. Aside from being Aggro Druid my first run and running into the bullshit that was Kobold King, every single deck ends up being jarbled, unsynergistic ass.

I apologize if I'm channeling Ulti a bit, but it's not fun to play a Murloc Tidecaller when my opponent makes a 2-mana 4/12 taunt.

Yeah, this is the most fun I've had in years. I've held the belief that Blizzard has been too afraid to make any substantial change since the game started, and after years the same formula gets stale no matter how you slice it. New cards haven't done it for me when years of new cards just make a bigger pile, not a better experience.

That said, lol @ Ulti. Losing to randomness in Hearthstone? You'd think after dumping hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars, you'd be smarter than to conclude "there's RNG in Hearthstone!!" Got any other revelations to make four years after its launch?

Same shit, different day. That's what I've disliked about Hearthstone - a game that at one point captivated me to play every day for months and months - and it's why I'm slightly happier with this new PvE mode.
