Just easily cleared with a hilarious Big Druid. Starting with an extra mana crystal, 2x Wild Growth, 3x Nourish, Fandral, Malfurion, 2x Deathwing, 2x Y'Shaarj, and a UI is pretty good.

I feel you trdl, but to me it's about the bosses as much as it's about the deck. My very first run I absolutely breezed through the 1st 7 bosses and then got roflstomped by the final boss, and it being random can bring scenarios where your deck just isn't equipped to handle the OP stuff the boss can do. I appreciate all the shenanigans you can piece together every so often (double health + wish so funny) but sometimes it does feel like you might as well quit halfway through if you don't get something absolutely busted in the works. I had a priest run yesterday where my first treasure was basically choosing between the 2 grails that double battlecries and deathrattles respectively, so I chose battlecries, and immediately get 2 of the 3 packs focused on deathrattles, and the 3rd pack had an injured blademaster which was instantly useless due to the grail.
I will say, however, that I would be very interested to see an arena run work the same way it does here, where you're offered packs of 3 cards 10 times instead of 30 individual cards.

The thing with dungeon run, though, is that I don't care if I'm getting screwed by RNG or bullshit play by the AI because it's actually really fun to play.

There's been multiple times where I've lost and just laughed because I want to keep playing and try again. I've played 4-5 runs with some classes and my deck has been completely different every single time.

I played Hearthstone for nearly 10 hours yesterday, and other than 3-4 games of standard, it was all dungeon run, and I went to bed thinking about how I couldn't wait to play more. I've never felt that way about this game before.

But I mean, I have a boner for roguelikes and have put something like 300+ hours into Binding of Isaac so this is right up my alley.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I am having fun as well. I think the thing is that because it's a bit time consuming for...not really much of any hard reward, that when it feels bad, it feels REALLY bad because instead of going through that rough game in order to learn something so you can do better next time, you went through it for no reason because it ultimately gives you no useful reward and the experience may not even come in handy because you likely won't face the same boss next time.

Note this really only applies to the 7th and 8th bosses personally since I've made it at least that far every time.

Bristlesnarl at game 7 might be the toughest dungeon run fight. I had a great dragon warrior deck with multiple board clears, where I even started at double health, and I still couldn't manage to beat him. The threats never end, I kept pace until we were both near fatigue and he still managed to pull out 8/8's and Call of the Wilds every turn.

Every other time I've faced him has essentially been an auto-loss by turn 7 regardless of what I've got.

Tried out a Temporus OTK Build. It works against greedy control decks by playing Temporus and then you drop Velen and Mirage Caller and then shoot a bunch of mind blasts

If they kill you they kill you, but when it works its super fun

I just lost to King Togwaggle in the worst way with the best Warrior deck I've ever had. It'd take me forever to explain the situation, but essentially, he was in fatigue with 2 health left, and he would have taken 5 damage next turn. I had 11 health and 2 big taunt minions on board, and he had 4 small minions. He also had that Mage weapon treasure he gets that adds a spell to his hand.

So, his turn starts, he uses his hero power to get the spell that destroys all enemy minions, and then goes face with everything leaving me at 4 health. He then plays the card he got from the Mage weapon that turn: a Forgotten Torch that hit me for 4 because one of his minions had spell damage +1.

I'm just a bit salty at that one, especially because Warrior has been garbage.

I just completed Warrior, it was my first class and I was refusing to play another until I finished it. I think it was my 8th or 9th run that I finally won? Go full pirates and hope you get the buff cards with your unique cards, that's the only way I was able to finish it. Double Captured Flag was the only reason I won.

I've been skeptical of going all in with Pirates as Warrior because I'm afraid of running out of gas against some of the higher HP bosses. I'll try it out though. I started doing the same thing where I don't change classes until I finish, and I'm getting tired of Warrior.

Cleared dungeon run for the first time with Druid against the dragon, with a big Druid deck. Took extra mana, big minions cost 5, and the boots card, but basically only ended up winning because I rolled the Darkness off of a golden kobold from the boss chest.

The later bosses were facing off against three 3/3 minions, two with charge, on the first turn. I was trying to make taunt work over and over but I was giving bosses too much time or their hero powers were taking advantage of my deck too often. Sucks to play a Sleeping Dragon when your opponent just pays 3 to make a copy.

The hardest boss for that deck was the one who summons the poisonous 1/1 minions. It was painful sending 3/4 and 5/4 minions into it every turn because I couldn't kill it with a weapon charge.

Yeah I came across that boss as a Warrior with permanent stealth on all of my minions. So I couldn't play any taunts. I didn't win that one.

10 hours, and 70 bosses defeated later, I finally beat dungeon run with Warrior. I'm never using Warrior in this game mode again.

@Camden you were right. I finally got offered the passive +1/+1 and a steady dose of Pirates, and that did the trick. I'm not really sure Warrior is doable any other way, unless you get incredibly lucky with the bosses you play against.

My Control Warlock is absurd amounts of fun. I'm playing a ridiculously greedy version with four ways to flood the board in the late game for control matches. First, Master Oakheart pulls out Tar Creeper/Tar Lurker, Plated Beetle/Vulgar Homunculus/Kobold Librarian, and Lakkari Felhound/Voidlord. Then I've got Krul to pull out, on top of those, Hooked Reaver, Despicable Dreadlord, Doomguard, and Abyssal Enforcer. If they manage to get through those, I bring them all back with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. And as a last "fuck you" to my opponent, why not play N'Zoth and get even MORE Voidlords?!

Just had a mirror game where my turn 8 was Coin -> Oakheart -> Creeper/Beetle/Voidlord. It got Nether'd. I played Turn 9 Krul -> Doomguard/Felhound/Enforcer for a completely full board as I asked out loud "you got another one of those?" He did.

But it didn't matter because Turn 10 was Bloodreaver time as I pondered "surely you don't run 3 of those...." He played his Bloodreaver for a 2/4 Taunt and a Dreadlord.

"That served no purpose."
"You win... for now."

Warrior done against The Darkness in the fucking longest match ever. It ended after nine turns of fatigue damage for him.

I got double health and the card that fully heals you while filling your board with legendaries + a bunch of weapons and the passive that makes them cost 1.

healing 80 something health at once feels pretty good

I don't believe for even a second that spell Hunter is as strong as it looks right now. I think it's going to be this expansions Deck That Gets Ran By Everyone Because A Streamer Had A Lot Of Success With It Really Early On Only To Fall Off The Map Entirely A Week Or Two Later. That 3/3 spellstone card has looked great, and the deal 3 summon 3/3 seems strong, but I can't imagine there's not a better list out there with a few minions in it instead of double companion and Rock Dealer.

Then again I seem to be wrong more often than I'm right so bring on our new spell Hunter overlords.

I just had a pretty easy glide on a priest dungeon run. Got to the Darkness at the very end. Pushed him into fatigue and he had two cards left. but I was just barely out of gas and eventually ran out of options against his hero power. It's so much value. So I just barely lost after he was at fatigue with 2 cards in his hand that he cuoldn't play. Fun game.

And then I got absolutely nothing for it
