I'm not a great run and gun shooter guy, but the art style intrigues me and I'm not terrible at the genre. Should I get it?

I've watched playthroughs (I don't have a gaming PC and I don't have an XBone). It doesn't look difficult so much as things getting very, very busy on-screen. The art is amazing and you'll probably like it.

It's pretty great, and has a difficulty that isn't really presented in a frustrating manner. I had a ton of fun with it.

You don't need to be a run n' gun expert, you just need to have a passing familiarity of games from the 90's to not get completely run over by the game

yeah for what it's worth, it's not really a run and gun game. it's roughly 25% run and gun and 75% boss battles.
