I don't know....the one time I got 2 Rainbows on a 10+1 pull, it got me regular Delita.

Thankfully I also got Luneth on that.

I'm not sure which is my favorite part, the 3 areas you endlessly walk through, the chests that don't open, MAP_TEXT, or the Question Mark Icon that follows you around.

I'm going to wait for emergency maintenance to fix any issues (although iOS seems to be having very few), and for the wiki to update with some actual maps, assuming it's not all random. Not about to waste a ton of energy wandering corridors for three minutes, especially when the items from King Mog are pretty limited this time around. Everything looks nice to go for, but outside of the Atk +20% and Full Moon Materia, and probably the mace for the very rare magic-based killer ability, I'm not all that impressed by what I see. A 5% Moogle for the same cost as a 10% during a normal KM event? A sword that inflicts...Blind? Really?

Definitely better places to spend my energy.

i think my favorite being how defeating mermaid in 2 minutes is totally the wrong mission.

Finally, finally got both my second Shatotto up to Lv. 80 and my second Victoria up to Lv. 100. Either duo can chain an opposing Arena team down to 0 HP in one round (although I'm sure I'll run into higher HP foes eventually), which is way more fun than I thought it'd be. Screw status cheese, I'm just doing this from now on. Probably swap out Ashe for Tilith so I have some MP recovery in case I get Siphon Delta'd.

And the sudden urge to use my second 10+1 ticket got the better of me. Got my second Orlandeau out of it.

Worst-case he'll be good expedition fodder. But really, that just means I don't have to rely on enhancing Agrias for anything except 10-man trials, and I'm a long ways away from being able to do those anyway. Since I'm so far behind most of the long-time players on crysts, I'm going to have to be very choosy on who I enhance until those become a bit more plentiful. More than likely it'll have to be Orlandeau -> Agrias -> Orlandeau #2, and then from their either Tidus or Aileen. I really want to use Aileen because she's awesome, but it's just going to take so much time to gear her up.

I had a feeling I'd pull a rainbow, I just kind of wanted it to be a new one. Not gonna argue though!

Huh. Didn't realize that with the new setup that your Arena team isn't affected by them being out on Expeditions. I hope that's intentional, and not a bug that'll need fixing.

And I doubt it'll be fixed without some maintenance. I expect downtime in the next day or two to patch things up. And it's not just the event either; regular explorations seem to have their dialogue bugged for encountering the boss and deciding if you want to keep exploring or leave, so it seems to be an across the board thing.

You guys have been able to log in? I updated and was able to log in briefly, but I couldn't do anything. All the Icons had question marks and when I clicked on quests it didn't do anything. When I clicked on World, it crashed the game, and now I can't get back in, it just keeps crashing.

Have you tried re-logging your account? Not closing the app.

At worst you have to do a re-install from the main menu in the app like I did. (=_=)'

Click menu instead of world and click on return to title.

i had this problem too. don't know if which steps are necessary either but redownload -> during tutorial -> disconnect -> re-connected after the first area was beat. simply re-downloading the data doesn't work, it needs the facebook disconnect-reconnect.

when you take off the account it's downloading new information so i think a combo of those two that'll fix your ???

So, with the addition of Marie and Noctis, who should I train first?

Noctis seems to work because of his revive and his flasks, but Marie is the best support I've got and dovetails reallywell with Tillith.

Marie makes you not need Tilith for a lot.
Noctis is great support/DPS.

I've gotten a crapton of mileage out of Marie after she's been enhanced. Complete status protection with defensive stat buffs built in (done better by other characters, but a nice start if you're using, say, Soliel before she gets her full pattern up), full elemental protection with so much healing that sometimes you don't even need a healer, and the ability to throw several more things into her rotation thanks to the duration of her elemental resistance buff. Need someone to use items? Rikku's Pouch? Hell, put a Pod on her if you don't need chaining so she can toss up physical damage mitigation too. Healing staff for DC Curas, tossing up reflect for spell shenanigans, buffing specific elemental resists, there's just a ton of versatility in what she can do.

All I ever see Noctis used for is Arena dodge shenanigans, and we don't have amazing magical evade yet, so he kind of falls quickly. He can do status as stop cheese, but so can Setzer and Amelia, and all you need no matter what you're doing with that route is luck and survivability. Maybe I'd be more impressed with him if I nabbed him myself, but I kind of doubt it.

Enhanced Marie. Allows more freedom for healing, removes need for Ribbons, and adds element funs.

Noctis won't do you much good these days beyond being a handy man.(Blizzard flask+razzmatazz is fun though.)

shadow lord did get me to 8 mil gil so i can't really complain about that event. i've got some stuff saved in order to make equipment but a good chunk is going straight to money.

Reflect is exceedingly cheap though at 240k for both enhancements, and it uses Green crysts to boot. All the enhancements do though is reflect additional spells, but since the reflect is only up for three turns you need two Marie's to pull off any party-wide reflect fun. I did it just because I could and it was cheap, but I don't get a lot of mileage out of it. Her other abilities use Support Crysts, 2 Tier 5 and 6 Tier 4 in order to upgrade both to +2, and pretty standard amounts for the rest of them.

Way cheaper than upping a Soleil, that's for damn sure.

Yeah, the wandering may be a bit lame, but encounter reducing abilities should let you skip the battles that give lame amounts of Lanterns to focus on collection points. And now that they've figured out what you're looking for on the wiki, it's pretty easy to find the mermaid. Now just need to figure out the most efficient farming methods.

So does anyone have plans for their 100% moogle? I really can't think of any TMR I desperately need, though I may have to take another look. Best-case at the moment is using it to just get a TMR out of the way so I don't have to farm it, like VoH's spear mastery, DKS, Magistral Crest, etc. More likely I'll just hold onto it until I get a 5* base with a really, really good TMR that they need to be successful. I'd use it on Aileen, but that'd be a waste of about 7%, and moogles are too precious to do that.

Rainbow robe when you only have one prince, imo. (Which is why I wait with mine.)

Allows your tank to handle elemental damage better when you need the AoE. Or someone else who needs it.
