Just saw this post to the cast today:

I love this guy. Talking about professional focus, nobody beats Harr. You hardly know he's there until he gets onstage, and in a bunch of precise moments and scenes. And then he nails it.
We are fortunate to have a talent of Harr's caliber in all these parts. He's all over the place.

Thanks but also like the director's even complimenting my chair when bragging on Kevin in another post:

I have absolutely no doubt that Shakespeare would just grin from ear to ear through your entire performance.
It's not at all hard for me to imagine him sitting in Harr's deluxe lawn chair with a pint of ale, tickled pink at your success in realizing his vision.

Me searching for my envelope fit well enough though, considering I'm torn up from having to report a murder.

My helmet cracked from a Cobra Clutch. How?! It cut my face man, not horribly but close to my eye and it fucking sucks.

I've melted down over safety concerns in the past and am reminding myself of those times to stay calm here. I'll be fine, but I'm not wearing a helmet during the fight again...should be an interesting talk.

Dropping the helmet from now on, everyone's cool and understands. Turns out the helmet was already cracked...prop mistress now knows that's dangerous and not okay.

During my helmet controversy, I forgot to mention I was about ten seconds late on my final cue to come on stage. It's all my fault -- I was there undistracted and ready but I didn't hear the cue. Maybe they could have been louder, but more likely I was still frazzled about the helmet cutting me.

Cast party was fun. Somebody brought trays of food from a cosplay wedding and all was well. I was among the first to leave because I have a storytelling festival to emcee in the morning....probably should have left sooner, but I remember a professional friend's advice in this field: "no matter what you do, never miss the cast party."

Still gotta shower to get this make-up off...ugh. So excited to have down time again one day. Soon, but not yet.....

Oh, about missing my cue: after a few seconds of ailence, I thought to myself "Welp, somebody missed their cue." It took a few more seconds to realize it was me. Crud.

When I walked into the dressing room afterward, I was among the last to enter. I enter though and am immediately greeted by the actor who was waiting for me on-stage. "It's about time you made an entrance!" It was all in the timing of how he said it...point made good sir, made me laugh.

After my helmet cut me, I was explaining the situation to two senior cast members. One of them touched my blood and asked if it was stage blood.

"No, you probably ought to wash your hand."

And folks, SHE THEN LICKED HER FINGERS. I said the only thing I knew to say:

"Well that's...kinky." We all laughed.

So my unrelated storytelling event went smoothly. Pays too! Awwww yeah.

There was a storyteller there who was covering some history of the land I grew up beside. I was real interested in what she was gonna say until she started talking. One of the first things she said was that Columbus sailed to America in 1420.

Kinda tuned out after that. She needed to watch this week's South Park.

It was a lot of fun. That was back when I actually used photoshop more for contest match pictures and things like that. My photoshop skills are surely rusted over by now.

I had co-produced a real dumb ten-minute piece we drunkenly wrote in a night about an awful rendition of the V-monologue from V For Vendetta...that was in 2006. LOBBY HERO was full-length and spearheaded by mostly me in 2008 so I call that my real debut.

The Artistic Director singled out some important people in the audience to thank then for coming, so, you know, no pressure for our scenes. It never REALLY pressures me anyway, I got my same job for either a full house or a first rehearsal.

I was slow on an entrance...fuck. Not the same cue as yesterday's, but from the same location for an entrance. Again, undistracted and ready for my cue...but failed all the same.

It's hard for me to hear what's happening on stage from that spot, but it doesn't matter -- get my shit together dude.

And this is what I hate about smaller roles more than anything, having to wait more than having to act...and having mistakes bother me more since there's less else I'm responsible for.

Blood Princess is an intimate hugs-and-kisses-and-prolonged-eye-contact-and-blood-licking type of person and she's great, but also she's married with kids. Get your hopes up for me because I'm not about to.

Bill and I got a quality reaction from the audience...nice type of dramatic silence and following applause, pleased with it. It's been working a lot better as I've reacted to the storm more, and Bill's getting it down too (just stop crossing in front of me and stopping so the audience can't see my 10/10 shivering). Great crowd of people tonight!
