busy day today with double SP. i spent 60k feathers 5*ing Marth, Reinhardt and an Effie to sacrifice to him for deathblow. got them both to 40. Innes is not quite 40 yet. after that... i'll go with Tobin or Summer Xander i guess?

My Tobin is still level one. I'm doubtful that I'll ever bother with him. I got Elincia up to level 40, and promoted and merged my +Spd - Res Athena. I'm thinking now if I want to give Life and Death to Elincia. Death blow is fine, but it might be worth taking advantage of her speed stat more.

I had thought about training up Tobin, but now that I have more (much better) reds to use, I don't think he will ever need to come into the picture. I really want to give someone Pivot to get rid of the 4* taking up space, so he's probably going to BK.

i mean, at least he'll probably be a bonus unit and he has decent stats. though i'd be mad anyway, one of the least likable characters from PoR.

I don't think I'd do that. 40 HP is good enough to hit most mages, but it's so expensive to transfer. I'd rather put it on an armor or keep it with Valter.

Threaten Attack sounds better than Threaten Defense to me. Or a hone skill that your team needs

The Black Knight is in some of the Chapter 13 story maps so we would know he is in the game. We just wouldn't know when he would become playable.

I used TRE's data - if they they were combined, he would know. I wasn't aware of certain characters being in FE4 and FE5 actually. Just googled the names of anyone I was unfamiliar to find out their game.

ah so Finn was combined, just not also labeled as Genealogy. that makes sense. i'm kinda surprised he got more votes than Leaf. i see a lot more people wanting Leaf added.

I did combine Finn from FE4 and FE5. I didn't put any series names in my results so other people wouldn't know that, though.

One is +Def, -Hp

The other is +Att, -Spd


Or maybe I should just stick with Ephriam and give him Hone Speed. My blue spot does tend to rotate a lot.

Which in hindsight is a really strange commercial because "No man can be trusted" is a strange message in a series where you commonly recruit enemy soldiers to your side without any fear of betrayal.


Granted betrayal does happen in some of the games, it's not because you recruited a mole or anything.

I would give Ephraim hone speed regardless of what you do with Eirika. Eirika can still be useful as a support character on a secondary team to aid with Chain Challenges and Arena Assault. She doesn't have to kill things...just survive

So I redownloaded this game a few days ago, plowed through all the paralogues and some of the story (Still have the last few chapters on hard and lunatic to go) Spent all the orbs I got from it, got a bunch of 4* and I'm up to 4% on the elincia banner, my actual question is, I have 40K feathers, who should I promote? My inventory so far:

Hinoka
Cordelia

Brave Ike
Reinhardt

Lilina
Caeda
Effie
Nowi
Michalis
Cherche
F Corrin

Any tips? I have no idea what is good and what isn't right now. I was thinking caeda for fliers but *shrug* I don't know. Are there any skills on characters right now that are worth promoting to 5* just to get the skill to someone else?

Hinoka and Cordelia can form the foundation of a flying team, but I would not promote Caeda. She is not very good. Cherche and Michalis make for better options. Are you aware of IVs/natures? Only promote Cherche if she is plus attack, and she really requires another 20k feathers to promote someone to give her Brave Axe+. She has the second highest attack in the game and is the best brave axe user. It is better to have two blue and two green fliers on a team unless you have Elincia.

Tharja, Ike and Reinhardt are notable 5* characters. Tharja won't be as useful without Eirika or Ephraim, but Reinhardt can be a monster even outside of a cavalry team. It is perfectly reasonable to sacrifice a 5* Effie to transfer Death blow to him. It is only available as a 4* on Klein, and you should really be avoiding colorless orbs as much as possible

Gonna need to see your notable 3*s as well. If you're set on making a 5* then the difference between 20k and 22k feathers isn't much considering they hand them out like candy these days.

I am aware of IV/natures but havent' checked my cherche, I don't have many 3* atm as I just turned them into more feathers, whoops lol. I do have a F robin, olivia, anna/alfonse/sharena, when I get more in the future I'll be sure to research them more. Most of the stuff I got last night pulling was stahl, sophia, hinata, other reds (Been pulling exclusively for elincia for said flier team)

Olivia is very useful. As a word of advice, don't send characters home for feathers. Most of them have some use as skill inheritance fodder

Generally I try to keep at least 1 copy of every character as an ' extra' more if they've got desirable skills that can be fully inherited at 4* or I have designs on +ing them up someday

I keep tons of copies of characters. I had 5 Subakis yesterday and now I have 2 after a run of skill inheriting. Hoarding is legit in this game.

255 doesn't even cut it these days. I tried hard for the longest time to minimize the number of times i expand my barracks, and when you summon a lot, it's just not feasible trying to keep your barracks small because you want to keep all the characters that could be even of some use as SI fodder.

When's the earliest we might know the TT bonus units? Not sure what i'll do for this one because the only bonus characters I'll probably have are Soren and Titania, who I can't see being at 40%. Nino is an essential on my TT team and I don't want to replace her with Soren.

the datamine showed dialogue with Ike, Mist, Soren and Titania, so the current theory is that those are the 40% bonus units while the new ones are 20%. i'm still skeptical about that, though. i think they'd want to push you to try to get the new units.

either way, you can lead with any random Soren, forfeit, and bring in your good team with whoever you want. that's what i did with Boey in the second TT. it's only worth about 4% less points.

man, the last damn map of AA and of course it's full ranged horse cancer with them on the right and me on the left with the breakable walls and a couple forest tiles. i saved all my items, and my dancer's veil had a 2/3 chance to get Sonya or Azura who could dance her, who could one-shot Bow Lyn with her special. instead i got Celica and lost a unit. still top 10k but i'm pretty sure that would have been top 5k otherwise.

oh, and since i had used a lightning charm i really didn't need that much damage to kill Lyn. if my Celica wasn't -atk, it would have been enough as well.

Man, how did you pull that off?? Unless you just had that much good fodder and units that could make good use of the skills. Like I have more Lon'qu's than i know what to do with since as you said, Vantage is only useful for certain types of units. Then, there are Henry's, Shanna's, Subaki's, and so on that are good to have, but you still have to carry them until they can be used.

They really need to re-evaluate map design. Honestly the Horse Emblem nonsense wouldn't be a big deal to me if it weren't for the glut of maps with no way for infantry to move around and full of choke points to boot. Even the map with trees that are supposed to hamper cavalry just makes it tougher to get away from them.

Not sure I agree with this one considering all analysis says she stands towards the front of the lance infantry pack statwise. Her starting kit is godly too soo she doesn't need much work to be great, though I know the tier list doesn't factor that in.

The Tier List is very much centered towards the OHKO meta. They consistently undervalue units that excel on defense - Nephenee definitely fits that bill, while Oscar is more offensively inclined.

what's weird is she's even lower on the f2p tier list, which by definition can't give her slaying lance or wrath to anyone else. there's really no reason to pay any attention to it. they STILL don't have dancers in S+, and just the fact that they had them only A+ for so long makes me disregard anything else they might say.

True. I guess I can kinda understand though since Neph's Res is lacking and most of the actually threatening units in arena are magic users.

Ranged characters don't scared me much regardless. I just throw this at them:



And they die. Overall my team is based around baiting and it works very well. It only gets tripped up on the claustrophobic corridors map, but I think those trip up everyone not running a team of fliers.

I agree that horse emblem wouldn't be so bad without some of the claustrophobic maps. I can beat them well enough on more open maps.

The lance tier list is a mess in my opinion. Est, Shanna, and Catria are not better than Nephenee or Camus. Effie has always been overrated. I'd put Azura on top - the utility dancers offer is undervalued. It's nice to see Lukas moving up in the rankings.

I've been having good luck with this in the arena lately. Quite a pair with Lucina.
