Orthros has 200% Water Resist, so water chains wouldn't beat the trial for me. Unless Tidus imperil would help, but I don't think it would. Or am I misunderstanding what the numbers mean for damage?

A2 is the best DPS in the game right now. If you have her, don't waste her!

Based on my experience helping my wife clear content with her A2, she chains just as easily as Orlandeau. The only difference is she hits harder. A lot harder.

see, the way it should work is that it gives you, for $7, 8 gigantaurs and 15 gil snappers (both highest levels), 3 tickets, and 250 lapis. and you can buy that up to three times.

that's not what's happening.
if you've got 23 slots free and buy all 3, then hit claim all, you'll get one at a time if you use/sell the units. but it forgets to stop counting the tickets for each "claim all," effectively adding it in. so instead of going

including a third Veritas of the Earth but finally one Veritas of the Heavens! would've been great to have multiples of him so the Nine Army could compete. that 25% bonus to DW Hyper Jump would've been amazing but alas.

That explains so much! My wife asked me to fuse some extra units because she didn't have space to collect the last 2 bundles. When everything was done she had 62 tickets. I thought that was weird because she only had 38 last week, and that was after she bought most of the tickets from the mog event. I'm going to have to remember this next time they have a similar bundle. Finally a use for friend points! I don't think there's much they can do about it, it's not like people are exploiting, most of them probably don't even know there's a bug or a glitch.

yeah, honestly once you know the way the bug works it's a no-brainer to buy. it's just a bit over a dollar a ticket and you get 750 lapis, resupply your gold, and get a couple guys maxed out. since this is dealing with actual money i'm not sure what they can reasonably do but i figured what the hell, the golds have good TMRs and i still got a bunch of tickets from this mog king event that i haven't gotten anyway. for those saving for someone in particular, seems like an ideal way to horde tickets if you get to keep the extras.

I don't think she's all that good, her main hype is that she can chain perfectly with Orlandeau, so you can use them for 10 man trials.

She is Poorlandeau once you get it to +2.

Good enough to be in the meta and work with Orlandeau/DV/Sephiroth if you need that line of chaining.

From what I'm seeing on the update schedule, she was a month after the Veritas of the Light banner, and 2 weeks after Erinyues (which was the end of season 1?) Since she's a non-standard banner she could really pop up at any time, which is why I'm happy anytime it's not her.

He was my first 5* Max capable character, and I really liked him and used the heck out of him until I started getting more useful units. Basically, once I pulled a Chizuru, he got perma-benched since my Katana selection was rather mundane at the time.

I dusted him off and gave him a "thnks fr th mmrs" 6* promotion when they released it, but is he worth awakening for funzies at all?

Hayate is a great example of how to do hybrid units wrong. Use him for his TM, nothing else. (unless you really like ninjas).


Also, bleh, should have grinded more gil (1mill per explosion enhancement D:). Might also need to grind for some Power crysts of various sort.

From the looks of it Charlotte's AoE protection is 60% proc, and 60% on both.

Luka's is now 2k 5x. Her self heal is now 1k per turn.

I've got way too many TMRs to farm as is, but hers is a very popular one, and this seems as good a chance as any to try and pull her. I still need to be saving (which I've failed at miserably so far, way too many thrown at the Veritas banner just because I wanted to pull), but a handful might not hurt.

Are you just enhancing them "because," or are they priority Enhancements? I haven't used Luka since February I think, and I haven't ever needed to use Charlotte since I've always had a Cecil, Warrior of Light, and now most recently Veritas of Earth.

HaRP boss was not terrible. A poor Petrify of fry at 3% was an annoyance and same with confusion, but any deaths were easy to fix and Hyper Null-All made the elemental stuff bearable.


...Sadly I have no one of worth that needs a harp, so I stuck it on Aria.

I'm getting really annoyed at all of the things that are resisting Water as of late. Going into a fight expecting Tidus to be his usual awesome self, only to watch those Resist icons flash like a strobe light during Quick Hit is annoying. Oh well, at least these trials don't take stamina, and none of my friends will notice my horribly gimped Tidus throwing his equipment onto my old man.

I like variety in case I need x over y. If I don't need Tilith Luka works.

Luka offers a good heal, says good bye to petrification, a decent regeneration, and like Soleil is a Perpetuum mobile.

Charlotte offers a usable MP battery along with 60/60/60 for her aoe.

Here are my tests. (Luka is fully enhanced and potted for mag/spr. Charlotte got no enhancement and no pots.)
