Jecht has struggled to perform well consistently in this contest. It took him a few years to get out of the bottom third, and even his two best performances are surrounded by mid-40s finishes. As such, his STATS hover near the middle. With this finish, Jecht drops from 52.82% to 48.20%. Unfortunately, there's a pretty big logjam around the 50% mark, so he drops 9 spots from 41st to 50th, just below fellow crazy dad, Dr. Cid.

This hard boot hurts him more in the New Era (post-Raytan) STATS because he hadn't had a bottom half finish in the previous five contests, and he got to reap the benefit of his top 10 and top 15 finishes as well. He takes a big tumble here from 70.17% to 58.81%, falling from 22nd to 35th, just ahead of Rinoa.

I'm moreso referring to "Tell me why your character is most likely to win the Nathan's hot dog eating contest"

just because they clutter up the topic with useless stuff.

The "no scripts" thing refers specifically to saving. There's no rule against being alerted to the topic going up, however you choose to be alerted.

anyway for real like obviously that stuff is a bit masturbatory by nature but honestly smfffc is like 10-15 minutes of action followed by 45-50 minutes of waiting for the saves to refresh and there isn't a lot going on. just havin' some fun. i'd see it being more annoying to leon, who is trying to update, than anyone.

my only beef is when they ask for convincing arguments or for some sort of challenge to be performed because it just adds non-save clutter posts to the topic. But a simple free save post doesn't do any harm in my opinion.

All right, thanks to some hard work by lefty, he's improved and essentially automated the update sheet so that it's easier to stay on top of. Now there are three tabs: The Unsafe List, the Safe List, and Save Times, if you're interested in following that to help yourself keep up with when you last saved. We'll give it a spin tomorrow, but I think it'll be better for everyone involved.
