I think I'll stop for now, go to work, and pull the rest after what I know is going to be a day full of awful. I know I won't get a 5*, but another 9S would be nice, and just some other units to keep rounding things out could be useful.

So some input requested: I don't yet have Machine Killer, as I only have one Edgar and haven't been able to farm a lot of TMR's. I seriously doubt it, but is the Nier bundle worth the Machine Killer materia? I know 3k lapis is a lot, and that once I rank up it'll actually be efficient to use lapis to TMR farm, but I also know I'll probably need every edge I've got to be able to effectively clear the raid. 'Course my only decently geared unit is Tidus, so that probably won't help as much as I think it will, so eh...

Of course I'm the guy that shoved Moogles down Edgar's throats until I got Machine Killer so

Also decided to follow suit and wait until I used up my Dailies on Nier before using my tickets

I'm in the same boat. I pulled so much good stuff from the anniversary that I don't feel the need to chase anything, and nothing in the coming months looks all that appealing. I'm only pulling now because these are solid, limited units that will be gone for a long while.

I want them to release some FFVIII content, goddammit.

I guess A2's Offensive Heal Combo can't chain, even with herself. For whatever reason, the healing breaks the chain.

21O you get for the tank materia.(15% hp/spr) Each physical or magical attack equals a 30% shot at healing 800hp.

9S:

Bulky.

50% breaks for atk/def, mag/spr, thunder/fire/wind, ice/water/thunder to one enemy.

Can use 30%dmg general mitigation.

LB: Physical damage (8.65x) to one enemy
Decrease ATK/DEF/MAG/SPR (54%) for 3 turns to one enemy
Inflict disease (100%) to one enemy at lv 25.

BUT, most want the TMR.

A120: Repair. Heal (3000 HP, 9x) split over 3 turns to all allies

A060: P Shield. Physical damage mitigation (40%) for 2 turns to all allies. Stacks with your general 20-30% mitigation.

R020: Mirage. Physical damage (3x) to all enemies. Hits: 8. Two of these allows any units to chain together

Take it from an idiot, don't do it! I got DV on my first 10+1 last banner prior to using any tickets (I had 86.) Great start to Ayaka stockpiling. Then I gave in to my itchy summon finger and now I only have 35 tickets. Told myself I just need to get EV and it took all of those tickets plus another 2 10+1s.

I'm already struggling to not use them to get 9S even though I have several 4* raid tickets and a bunch of dailies left.

Well, there are literally no units I care about beyond this point (not ones that I would go all-in for anyway) released in JP aside from the Seiken Densetsu 3 banner, and I don't think we're going to get that. So I feel less bad about using my resources, but we'll see.

My wife got an off banner Emperor this morning. Was hoping she would get A2 because it's rumored that she can out damage Fry, but he'll do just fine for her. She has a very very magic heavy team.

Unlikely, as I mentioned earlier, because her OHC doesn't actually chain properly. It does seem like she can get close when chaining Dash Attack. Sounds like Fry is better when the enemy's SPR is less, A2 is better when DEF is less.

Ah, I guess that's good and bad then. Good because I have Fry, but bad because I want to see how people react when she does get dethroned. Can't wait to see what it is that passes her!
