I'm not, nor have I ever been, a super horny dude. I like/liked sex, but is was never a main motivator for me like it is for many guys.

That being said, there was pretty much no way I was going to make it to 20 without having sex. By 18 I was in the Air force and didn't have much opportunity, but at 19 when I got out, I think it was less then 3 months before I just couldn't wait anymore and asked a random girl out I met at a restaurant. If she had turned me down, it might have slowed me down a bit, but I doubt I would have made it to 20 anyway.

Those that do, have either absolutely no sex drive, no curiosity (Cause I mean it's constantly being thrown at you how great sex is) or some other reason (really shy maybe, or no social skills, or perhaps just not attracted to girls but not sure what your attracted to *shrug*.

I do think it's interesting how the dynamic has changed in my lifetime though. I do actually see situations where girls are chasing guys at this point, or want sex more etc. Kinda awesome really, as it makes the whole dating thing more equal in multiple ways:)

Anyways if you have almost no standards and are looking to loose your virginity, you can do it (even without resorting to prostitution). That said, I haven't had sex in about 2 years and I don't think I am missing much. 15 months for me. Despite getting those urges sometime, there's nothing in me driving myself to pursue a women solely for sex. Combined that with my lack of interest in pursuing a relationship or dating anyone, I probably will remain a virgin till the end of my days.

I wonder how many in society still see being a virgin or living with their parent(s) to be a stigmata of sort. Someone could be in a stable job, driving their own car, contributing to property tax/utility and some folks would still look down on that person for living with his/her parent(s) regardless of whatever reason said person is living at home.

As for being a virgin, perhaps that person doesn't care about losing their V card and have other priorities in life and yet again, regardless of how said person is living his/her life others will still look down on said person. It's just baffling for me. Out of all the things important in life, being independent, having a stable job, etc, etc and some folks focus on the trivial matter.

Personally for me, if/when I lose mine I want to lose it to someone I want to lose it to. I care naught about losing it just for the sake of losing it hence prostitution will never be a choice of mine. I am 27 and a virgin.

I never get worried about this stuff because...I have a personality, I have confidence, I am an interesting person(at least my friends tell me this). I just dont really care and dont go out meeting women, and im ot saying id be successful if I did, but I know how the game is played, am confident and interesting.

maybe i buy into the r/incel stuff too much, but I really am nothing like those people. at all.

I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't have some kind of hangup. I doubt this is a issue unless it's severe. I mean I have GAD it seems but that developed a couple of years ago and doesn't prevent me from going out, meeting people and living a 'normal' life. Unless I actually told someone I had GAD they wouldn't even know.

No sex drive - My right hand says otherwise.
No curiosity - I'm open minded for the most part.
Really shy - No different then most folk on that front
Not attracted to girls - I'm heterosexual.
No social skills - Probably hit the nail on the head here. I wouldn't say no social skills at all but I do find talking to most folk to be mundane. I also don't 'chase' girls. I mean I talk to them and they either talk, be interested and have a conversation with me or I lose interest and don't waste anymore of my time. I suppose this could be said about anyone I meet though. Still I won't even bother talking to a girl in a club/bar if she has loads of guys around her. That's too much work. I'm aware some effort is required but it's a two way street.
