Hello dear Observers and welcome to another nomination phase for an approaching game!

Last time we called upon you to bring in wacky toons so they could duke it out for the title of the 21st Champion! Alliances both Deadly and Unorthodox were formed as blood was spilled across the land! In the end, one particular alliance made it to the finale, but as we all know only one may be left standing

And so it was that Raka_Putra's royal tribute, Princess Clara would strike down her ally Uncle Chan in Mortal Kombat and stand victorious as our 21st Champion.

Alas that is in the past, today we ask something different of you!

The theme of this game is: HATRED!

That's right! This time we ask you to nominate characters / things from various worlds that you HATE so that they may undergo a Crucible of Hardship to attain the title of the 22nd Champion! Most will fall, but one shall rise up...and who knows, maybe the experience will make them worth rooting for by the end..? That or slightly less deserving of your hatred!

Simply post the name of the character you are nominating, their source, and why you hate them! (You can post a pic of them as well to make it easier if you want)

The writeup of your reason(s) for hating them can be as short as a sentence or as long as you wish (spoiler as you feel is needed). I would prefer if it wasn't something as simplistic as "I hate their shoes" or something (although depending on the situation it may be a viable reason).

You are sending your nom in to potentially be brutally massacred or suffer their way to the top so it should be a character you really hate no?...Granted the suffering and massacring parts aren't exactly new to the games but I am sure you know what I mean!

Who knows? Depending on what occurs in the game there may be something for a few who really show hatred for their nom.

If I don't know who the character is I may ask for details or may just wing it (I do that a lot!)

Fuck this guy.

He's obnoxious, his design is butt fugly (a mockery of the 'chiseled' guys archetype -- which are as is anyway), he's sexist and not at all suave. He tries to be charming but he's actually RAPIST ALERT. He's basically toxic masculinity personified. And that song is so, so, very stupid. Who the fuck cares if he can spit? That's disgusting and unhygienic. Fuck him. And for some reason people latch onto him. Not even ironically. They actually like a fucking backwater jerk who holds no regard for human decendy and good taste. I wonder if they'd like it if their daughter marries someone like him and has to become an abused, baby factory, submissive housewife. Bleh. I hope he dies gruesomely ASAP.

The Antagonist (Hatred)

Yeah, the game name is convenient, but really, this game makes gamers look bad. It was trash created specifically to sell copies off of controversy alone. It went over the top in all the wrong ways, specifically to show that it could and to get attention from the censorship debate. It's a dumb game that only exists to offend, and the "Antagonist" (even a villain is a protagonist if the story is from their perspective; that's English 101 jackass) is the worst part about it. He's a serial killer whose motivations sound like they're pulled out of an angsty teen's notebook. Everything about it is trashy.

Smug, obnoxious little brat who ALWAYS gives Drake and Josh a hard time and never, ever gets her comeuppance for it. She delights in making them suffer, even when they don't do anything to provoke her (and even if they do, the things she does to them are WAY out of proportion for it).

Vibe (DC Comics)


Vibe has to be the worst character in comics history. I'd rather read an ongoing series of the Yazz and Cyclops than read another second of this idiot. First off, the guy looks like a jackass. Secondly, he was a poor attempt at appealing to the "hip" crowd with his "breakdancing", a horrible Latino stereotype with the most shitty dialogue around AND he hangs out with white people just to get his family off his back. Like, what in the hell is that? If that's not enough, George Perez hates him as well, and refused to draw him for JLA/Avengers, merely showing his legs to fulfill the quota of having every Justice Leaguer appear in the book. That's how you know he's complete dogshit. They brought him back in the New 52 for god knows why, and instead of being racist, he's now as boring as Cyclops' shit next to a drywall.

If you've played the game, much less the remake you know what I'm talking about. She can drink her own milk to heal, has a 5x hitting Rollout, can charm male pokemon, and in the remake now has the ability to hit ghosts. Seriously, fuck that battle.

Hitomi Kanzaki (The Vision of Escaflowne)



Hitomi is a girl from the 'real world' who ends up in the fantasy world of Gaea due to reasons. She feels like some terrible mary sue self-insert who randomly becomes the most important person in Gaea just by her existence, and despite not being particularly attractive all the male protagonists immediately fall in love with her. Oh did I mention the prophesy that states if she doesn't get the boy she wants the whole world will end? LOL!
Despite having a boyfriend back on Earth, she pretty much immediately begins trying to get into the pants of these two handsome princes on Gaea, and she pretty much gives zero fucks about any potential or existing relationships that these two have with other people because she is completely self centered when it comes to love. She cannot make up her mind throughout the series and constantly dumps one to be with the other, only settling on Van at the very end of the show (after which she promptly goes back to her own world, to presumably find some new boy-toys).

I don't know why, but I've always hated this thing. When I was little apparently I would scream and cry whenever it came on TV. I've held a deep hatred for it long into adulthood.

Does me-sa really have to tell you-sa why I hate this fucking thing? Jar Jar Binks is the worst damned character ever conceived. Aside from George Lucas, nobody ruined Star Wars more than this guy. He's an annoying character thrown in to appeal to kids--and he's not even funny! I think we'd all love to see him crushed within the first 10 minutes of the games.

I was beaten to the Antagonist! Then again, I didn't know he had an actual name and would have nominated him as Not Important, after the "My name is not important" line in the trailer, so I wasn't the most qualified person to nominate him anyway. Fortunately, he wasn't my first choice. My first choice is...

Gon (Tekken 3)



Gon is a guest character from a manga series that isn't very well known in the West. I don't have anything against Gon based on what little I know of the source material, so my reasoning is based purely on his appearance in Tekken 3. First off, he's a blasphemous short character, the kind that tears balance a new one, and picking him almost constitutes cheating (See also, Oddjob in Goldeneye 64, or the monkeys in Timesplitters 2). Gon can nip at your ankles all day, while the rest of the cast can only hit him with crouching moves, which won't do much damage.

The second, and more important reason: Gon's inclusion is the sole reason that the Playstation version of Tekken 3 can never be re-released. He was a funny joke at the time, but he wasn't worth it in the long run, as he's from a time before guest characters were future-proofed.

Where to start? He lies pretty much all the time. It's tremendous how much he lies. So bigly. From Crowd Size, to mexico paying for the wall to pretty much every petty little thing. He complained about Obama playing Golf as President, then plays more golf than him. He uses twitter constantly. Tried to ban transgenders from the military BY TWITTER. He ran a fraudulent university, and always claims himself to be a winner. He tells other companies to hire American, and then his companies don't do it so he's a hypocrite. Pussy grabber comments. He's almost killed more civilians than Obama in his entire 8 years. Oh, and he happens to be our President. So he has all the power in the world, and lives at the white house (which he calls a dump. I'd really hate to see what he'd say if he lived in a trailer, or even an average house.)

Porky Minch (Mother series)



Porky is Ness' bratty neighbor in Earthbound. When he is your "friend" early on he is selfish, cowardly and useless, if not an outright hindrance. Later appearances have him aligning himself with whoever your enemy happens to be, pretending to act regretful when they are beaten and then running away while taunting you. At the end of the game, he escapes by time travelling, and leaves a note mocking you saying you will never be able to find him.

In the sequel Mother 3, Porky has become immortal and godlike from abusing time travel. He sees the Nowhere Islands, the setting of the game, as just a playground, ruining the peaceful village life of its inhabitants and reconstructing and fusing the peaceful animals into violent monsters. When he gets bored of the world, he plans to summon a dragon to end all life.

...And I hate their shoes.

The World's Angriest Boy in the World (Legion)

Don't get me wrong, Legion is an excellent show. Like really good. And The Angriest Boy is a big part of what makes it good. That being said, I hate that fucking thing with a burning passion. I don't know what it is about the giant head and flat face and Alexander and the Terrible Horrible Day thing it has going on, but I don't think I've ever been as legitimately horrified by anything as an adult as much as I am with that damn giant-headed kid. It's nightmare fuel.

Now I honestly hate everything about Bleach, I could've nommed Tite Kubo for being the AssPull King all on his own, but he is just a means to an end. That and sometimes his Asspulls make sense. Sometimes. Okay mostly no but...

Yhwach is THE most broken villain I've ever seen. And I mean, while there are other similar godlike villains who are probably stronger and more obnoxious, Yhwach earns my nom for just being goddamn untouchable on every known level of power. There was really no conceivable way to beat him save for an asspull which is exactly what happened. His ability in itself is haxx: The ability to grant and remove powers AND to just "figure out" how to beat something after experiencing it once AND after killing the Spirit King gains the ability to see the future as if that power wasn't enough. Are you fucking kidding me?! He might as well be Tite Kubo himself as an author avatar.

Weevil Underwood (Yu-Gi-Oh!)

Fittingly for a guy with an insect theme deck, Weevil is a major creep, who thinks very highly of himself and treats others like dirt. He isn't a bad duelist, which is easy to forget considering his win/loss ratio, but he is the biggest cheater in the series, doing things like keeping the new rules of Duelist Kingdom to himself so that Yugi would be at a disadvantage in their duel. Worse than this is that he also sabotages his opponent's deck, such as when he asked to look at Yugi's Exodia cards then threw them into the ocean, or when he slipped an insect virus card into Joey's deck before their duel.

His arrogant demeanor, shrill voice and cheating streak combine to make him a character in desperate need of a slap, so I'm nominating him in the hope that I'll get to watch him squirm.

This already has the greatest roster of any Hunger Games I've ever seen and I'm going to enjoy reading every damn second of this.

Sophia is a mean spirited, hot tempered and violent teenager who finds anything but negative consequences as encouragement to continue. She has nothing but disdain for those she perceives as weak and hates anyone she can't beat in a fight.

And her powers are

Sophia was capable of shifting herself into a "shadow state" which allowed her to pass through walls and made her lightweight. She could pass on these attributes onto her equipment, including shots fired by her crossbow bolts.

I've listened to the OST countless times, it's beautiful from start to finish, Akira Yamaoka putting his signature touch on various genres to create a horror soundscape that's varied, haunting, poetic, and bittersweet. It kills me that people can't appreciate it.

You know what always works like a charm? Shoehorning in an annoying mascot to a popular franchise. And the Yazz is one of the most EGREGIOUS examples in all of media. There's no build-up to the Yazz, he joins the League in his first appearance, adding nothing to the team powers or personality wise, screws up the Justice League refuge by sending it light-years from home, then disappears, confirmed deceased as a monument to fallen Leaguers appears in 52 with The Yazz there. Yazz is textbook 101 on how NOT to do a new character, and thankfully, he remains in the grave where he belongs.

Tremendously annoying, a purposefully ugly design that beats you over the head with how annoying it is, very smug though he's stupid (he just succeeds because he's fighting someone very dense), and his arc is basically almost completely filler with fake drama and no pay off.

Anduin Wrynn (Hearthstone)
I have not played a minute of WoW ever, and I know that's what HS is based off of, so this is purely against the priest class in HS.

**** priest. Playing against priest is worse than playing against blue in magic. Ever since HS started, priest has been about stealing your stuff. I play mage, which is a ton of burn, so priest is naturally my arch-enemy. Priest can also heal every turn, which makes it even harder to kill him as a mage. Priest has a lot of health buffs, which makes it hard to use mage board-wipe spells effectively. Priest can flat out steal a dude off the board from you, and priest has a ton of spells that kill dudes with certain power ranges, for cheap. 2 mana to kill anything with power 3 or less, 3 mana to kill something power 5 or greater. And now there's a spell that lets him copy 1 out of 3 random spells in his deck, so now he can possibly have MORE than the 2 max of a single spell in this manner. Have a ton of big minions? Too bad, just gonna make 4 copies of shadow word death, goodbye. The ONLY way to bypass this is have something with 4 power, oh but guess what, he just used my own fireball to kill that guy because he stole it like a thief. He's more of a thief than the ****ing rogue class.

And now we have free from amber, a spell that lets him pick one of THREE random dudes cost 8 OR HIGHER. 8 mana for a 12/12 deathwing? or maybe a 5/9 soggoth? Even the fact he gets to choose from 3 random dudes gives him some flexibility.

Also a 3/4 for 3 mana dude that gives another dude +3 health? Dumb, and blizzard decided to reprint it once the old one rotated out. Thanks.

Playing against priest grinds my gears to no end. At least paladin has the balls to hit you himself, with weapons, or at least PLAY HIS OWN MINIONS. But nope, priest is just goign to kill all your dudes, and then kill you...with your dudes. **** priest.

Katara (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

I'm not really sure what purpose Katara was supposed to serve as a character. She's not funny and she doesn't really have much to do with most of the plot; you could write out of the show and lose almost nothing. But she's there, managing to be boring despite being one of the most powerful characters and having the story go out of its way to focus on her more. Not to mention all that time wasted on "romance" stuff involving her.
