I was going through my closet today and found a bunch of old NES games, but I haven't even heard of a lot of them and was wondering if anybody here knew anything about them.

Rad Racer 1&2
Rock n Ball
Monster Party
Section Z
Whomp'em
The Krion Conquest
Dynowarz
Cybernoid the Fighting Machine
Puzzle (I have no clue what the hell this is. It says for play/use on the NES, but the cartridge is black and isn't quite shaped the same.)

Might find some more games on various stuff while I'm at it, but these are what stands out so far. I didn't own many of the classic NES titles like Zelda or Metroid so most of what I have my parents probably got pretty cheap at random stores.

Whomp'em
Dynowarz

The strange cartridge means it wasn't approved by Nintendo

Some publishers skipped the process and just sold games for the system without the Seal of Quality!

The only one there I know is Rad Racer, but anyone who was alive in 1987 (and not a baby) knows Rad Racer. It was even the third component of the Nintendo World Championships cart, along with SMB and Tetris.

Oh snap I have Contra. I didn't even know I owned it and I don't recall ever playing it. I like this cartridge art though. Looks like Arnold, Rambo and a Xenomorph.

Found a Flintstones game, but the art is all torn up. It says The Flintstones the Rescue of and the rest is gone. I can partially see that little green alien? guy and that's it.

Also found Hudson Hawk. I think this was a movie and for some reason I feel like Bruce Willis was in it, but I could be wrong. Am definitely sure it was a movie though.

Found a couple more. Some unfortunately have lots of stickers on them probably from all the various shops they went through before getting to me, but others look great.

Gyromite - I remember seeing this on AVGN and that's about it.

Batman - Also didn't know I owned this, but hey it's Batman.

Kung Fu - XFD this cartridge art is so great

Ghosts N Goblins - oh hey a classic

Ninja Gaiden - Not sure I ever beat it, but I definitely remember it pretty well.

Some sports games. I don't recall ever being into sports so I have no idea why I have these. There's a Major League Baseball, Tag Team Wrestling, one that just says NFL and some golf game about Jack Nicklaus.

Some Addams Family game I never knew existed. A slightly broken looking Karate Kid game.

Found my Game Gear too. It doesn't work now since something is up with the screen, but more games to look through is fun.

Here's what I found with my Game Gear:

Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic Triple Trouble
Shaq-Fu Game of the Ever
Fred Couples Golf
NBA Jam
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the movie one too. I remember those on SNES
Super Columns - looks like Bejeweled
Surf Ninjas what a classic movie to make a game of
Pro-Striker 94 da fuck is with all these sports titles
World Series Baseball
Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble (remember when they literally used to make Bugs Bunny games?)
Beavis and Butthead
Dynamite Headdy uh is this guy a failed mascot attempt?
GP Racer
Iron Man X-O Manowar in Heavy Metal wow what a long title for such a small cartridge.

Forget this stuff though because I just found the old GB/C/A and N64 collection to go through!

Rad Racer 1&2 - decent Outrun-style driving games with some rudimentary stereoscopic 3D technology if you have the glasses
Monster Party - platformer with funny bosses including one that says "Sorry, I'm dead." when you enter the room and then instantly dies
Whomp'em - Decent platformer. Was a Journey to the West game in Japan
The Krion Conquest - Mega Man ripoff with below average graphics and sound
Dynowarz - Cool concept, poor execution
Gyromite - The less-bad R.O.B. game
Batman - Good game with good music
Some Addams Family game I never knew existed - Fester's Quest I assume?
Karate Kid - bad game, but did you know it was developed by Atlus?

Oh wow my GB collection is awful. Like literally probably the worst of all time.

GB - Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow and Gold. Pokemon Trading Card Game, Robopon and TMNT. Pretty sure I have Kirby 1 somewhere, but I can't find it.

GBC - A whopping 4 games I have found so far. Pokemon Crystal. Zelda Oracle of Ages. Dragon Ball Z Legendary Super Warriors and Dragon Warrior III

GBA - Also pretty sad. Pokemon Sapphire, Emerald and FireRed. Yu Yu Hakusho Tournament Tactics. Kingdom Hearts CoM. Super Monkey Ball. DBZ Buu's Fury, TCG, Legacy of Goku 1-2 and Taiketsu.

Actually the Power Rangers Movie games were completely different on each system. Genesis had a beat-em-up, SNES had a sidescroller where you could jump between two planes (foreground and background) like Fatal Fury, Game Gear had a fighting game, and I...forget what the Game Boy one was. I remember walking left to right and dying, like, all the time.

[I'd count SNES' "Fighting Edition" as another movie based game since Ooze was the final boss, but your mileage may vary on that.]

The Game Gear Power Ranger games aren't bad. They're pretty basic (fighting games on such a low-powered system & with only two buttons kinda limits what can be done), but still kinda fun.

Yeah, they did some contract work as early as NES and Game Boy. They're also responsible for Friday the 13th, as well as two decent NES platformers, Rockin' Kats and Wacky Races. There are even two Megami Tensei games on NES.

Cutesy mascots were the style at the time. Dynamite Headdy is one of the best, though. Developed by Treasure so you know that shit was good. Apparently the Game Gear version isn't as good.

Also I could have swore this was one of the few games that would do something if it was hooked up with Sonic & Knuckles on the Genesis but apparently I'm wrong.

All I saw on Karate Kid was the LJN label AVGN loves so much

N64 stuff:

WCW NWO Revenge
WCW NWO World Tour
South Park
Pokemon Snap oh ya I loved this
Pokemon Stadium 1-2
Mario Kart 8
Star Fox 64
Goldeneye 007
Smash Bros
Ocarina of Time
Mario Party 1-2
Harvest Moon 64 good times

Probably missing a couple classics, but at least this is way less embarrassing than my GB collection >_>

The Greatest Hits collections of Final Fantasy 1-2, 4-9+CT
Digimon Rumble Arena
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
Dragon Ball GT Final Bout
Dragon Ball Ultimate Battle 22
Legend of Dragoon

Clearly the greatest PS1 titles of all time. Also found a $2 bill and a Canadian coin which was far more interesting

The Incredible Crash Dummies - I vaguely recall this being really hard
Double Dragon - classic game
Battletoads - also classic and hard
Toxic Crusader - think that was on AVGN too
Super Mario Bros 3 - mega classic
Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt combo - good memories and fuck that dog
The Legend of Kage - whatever the fuck this is
R.C. Pro-Am 32 tracks of racing thrills - mouthful of a title

Kinda crushed I can't find the only SNES game that survived my childhood (Zombies Ate My Neighbors). All the rest including the console got sold when I was a kid. Oh hey The Krion Conquest, I liked it
Mostly because it was damn hard compared to other NES games I had as a kid (I could beat Megaman 1 and SMB every single time easily)
But I never beat Krion Conquest on the NES

It's a poor Megaman ripoff but it's still kinda fun I guess
I did play it a few years later on emulator and beat it thanks to save states and it was pretty bland, the most fun comes from being a challenging game

I am positive I never played most of these NES games. My NES was at my grandma's house for probably 15 years until she packed it up and gave it back to me a couple years ago. It's just been sitting in my closet since I moved here a couple years ago. A shame my NES is broken. I tried to fix it like I saw on some YouTube videos, but it just wasn't playing anything without freezing and magically resetting itself.

A lot of the NES games have neat art on them. Kind of a shame they don't make them like this anymore. Also amazed I don't have a single Mega Man game because I know I played a ton of them as a kid. I guess they either got lost or were rented or something

Been cleaning out other parts of my room. Found thousands upon thousands of old DBZ cards likely worth nothing whatsoever. Like literally just a 6ft tall pile or higher easily. Also found old Pokemon cards than can be worth something, but are hard to get rid of. Then I found a GEM from my childhood. A couple of the Garfield Pet Force books where the Garfield characters got random superpowers. I think I got them off the old like book catalogue things they would hand out in elementary school trying to get parents to buy books and you earn points or something. I forget exactly how it worked, but I might re-read these things or at least see what ones I might be missing

Organizing these cards is going to take forever. So many different sets of symbols.

Also going to get the NES games looking as nice as I can. Some of the stickers on some can be removed without doing any damage so I might as well get them off. The very few with one on the cartridge art will probably have to stay so I don't risk damaging it.
