I like how Miz promised the former Social Outcasts that with him they'd no longer be jokes... and then has them dress up as giant teddy bears.

I mean, between the Dallas/Balor match earlier and the assault, they definitely don't feel like jokes, it's just funny.

I also like that it's bears. It's like he knows Daniel Bryan is coming back and he's taunting him. On the other show no less!

Ugh, I really hate this. Enzo has no future as a single's competitor and Cass isn't good enough to be a top guy (although I will admit he could improve enough to be one).

This feels like a higher profile version of the PTP various splits.

I'd kind of gotten tired of the gimmick, but I think Enzo is a cool guy and it's going to suck if this leads to him getting future endeavored a few years down the line.

I don't understand why they didn't at least let them feud Revival before breaking them up. Because Enzo & Cass are super over and having Revival go over on them would've been great for them, especially since Revival can actually talk and trash back at them.

Remember when we said Seth Rollins would be the biggest loser when The Shield would eventually break up? And now he's on the cover of 2k18 and is cheered louder than Roman Reigns and probably Ambrose?

Remember 3MB, and now Jinder Mahal is WWE Champion and Slater was the highlight of the post-Draft months with a tag championship?

Things can happen. I don't doubt that Enzo will never see the main event of the card outside the Rumble or Survivor Series, but I don't think either of them are dull enough or bad enough to shuffle of into nowhere.

...Of course, I say this as I just remember the Lucha Dragons and lament how both Kalisto and Sin Cara have fallen so far so quickly. God I miss watching Sin Cara's suprising strength and Kalisto's pinball-fast attacks.

The difference is Cass is 7 foot tall, and VINCE MCMAHON LIKES BIG SWEATY MEN! Not saying it's Baron Corbin golden ticket stamped over him...but he'd have to try really hard to fuck up. Enzo's situation is a test to see what would happen to Xavier if New Day ever breaks up. Xavier can wrestle way better, but he is there for his mic work. Enzo might work solely as someone to actually get eyeballs to 205 Live.

They'll be fine.

Yeah, Cass is at least passable, but nothing special. And I attribute that to him actually getting time to be a single guy when Enzo busted his leg that one time and then again when he got a concussion. Enzo hasn't had any singles experience at all. It shows when he tries to have a match with Cesaro that he idiot proofs and it still ends up being terrible.

At the same time, maybe he'll learn a lot if you pair him up with some guys in the Cruiserweight division every night at house shows. Honestly, the dude gets a reaction. He should be in the Cruiserweight division to help people care about it. I've said it for a while with their impending break up coming soon.
