This is basically a defense contract for Lockheed's Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system. The point was that the king of saudi arabia wanted a discount on the deal so went through us. for more information on what it is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminal_High_Altitude_Area_Defense This is a good deal and we are making the $110 billion dollars. So basically the promise of others paying us for defense is being put into effect here.
