I have over 100 sacreds right now. 100% TMR units while running Snow Plains or whatever it's called. I just wish there was some easy way like that to grind Holy Crystals. Always next to zero on those.

Can someone explain to me why people think Y'Shtola is even in the same league as Refia when it comes to healing? She gets Raise. Refia gets Full-Life. Is it all about the innate dualcast?

That and she can act as a backup mage via stone/wind line, holy and cleric stance.

For healing, though, yea, DC makes the healer. Once Refia gets DC, she outclasses her.

I was starting to level Y'Shtola next since people seem to go on and on about how great she was. Partway in (stupid) I decided to check her out on the wiki, and now I'm mad at myself for wasting a whopping 10 gigantuars. After I finish Genji Glove I think I'll start putting my trust moogles towards Dualcast. Once Refia has that I should hopefully be able to hit Gilgamesh and Dark Espers... And maybe the trials before that, since the last one I did was Attack on Antonella or whatever it's called. Still missing a couple in there.

It's not totally a waste, though, cause Y'sholta's LB is far better than Refia's. Straight damage Mitigation(which DOES stack with Golem)>a Def buff and Esuna.
She's a great healer/off-mage if you're running a tanky team(like I do)

I don't really need another mage though since I already have Dark Fina and Exdeath to cover that. My personal style is to always have a focused healer, so Refia suits that far better (at least until Ayaka, if I'm lucky enough to get her.) I have Cecil as well if I need a backup healer (though I might swap him out for WoL when he gets his 6*). The only viable attackers I have right now are Chiz, Gilgamesh, and Fryevia, so my team isn't really tanky.

Bring in Minfilia or Marie and keep Dark, Water, and Fire resistance up

Prepare for attacks by Siren that Confuse, Sleep, and drain MP

Kill Ifrit first

Don't trigger more than 1 scripted attacks at 70%, 50%, and 30% HP

Don't break Ifrit's DEF and SPR

Minfilia is immune to them naturally at max level

Refia is naturally immune to Confuse, and I gave her a Black Bandanna for Sleep

Pecil has Grand Helm which protects against both

Asagi got the White Band and Black Choker? I forgot the names, but I only had 1 of each type of accessory to make her immune to both

Not enough for the 5th guy unfortunately, but there's a 5 man team mission anyway. Just make sure your friend unit is immune to both. Or risk it

And got the moogle in the bargain.

Had to use a phoEnix down because my team was almost wiped due to a triple X-slash late in the game and Refia needed to cast Water (from Siren)to get me a Break to recover, but the fact that I went that far with no items is impressive.
Y'sholta with Ramuh was my godsend, since it meant that she could cover for Noctis if he needed MP ( and late in the game, he did), made electrocute proc only once, and both Noctis and her could cover for rain if occupied.

Cecil tanked a lot, Rain kept the lock down, Y'sholta was versatile as all hell, Refia saved my ass in the clutch, Ling was mana battery, attack eater and emergency revival and Friend noctis was my DPS.

It was long, arduous, and outright scary at points, but finally, THE BLADE IS MINE!

Now to get a slightly better noctis or more tankiness to grab Bushido.

I wish I knew how often they'll be giving out 4* tickets. Rikku probably won't be showing up for months, but I don't expect them to be handing them out regularly either. Having a team of Setzers would be pretty great though. Too bad he won't drop like Leon on golds.
