I'm torn about egg seekers still being up. Since it's there I feel compelled to do the daily in hopes of getting another Fryevia, but logically I know that I'm not going to get 3 rainbows within one week only doing tickets and dailies.

Got everything from the new Ariana stage aside from the moogle. I think I could probably get it with Lopen's Exdeath (unless dual magic counts as an ability), but that would take so long and it's only a 5% moogle.

I think I'm getting more used to chaining. As I understand it. Fryevia is a good ender and Chizuru is good at maintaining the chain. So who is good at starting chains. Orlandu maybe but who else?

Well, usually the ones that start the chain are the ones that extend the chains.

Orlandeau and Yun are the best.

Not sure about non 5* characters, I don't think there are many that have the abilities to pull it off like those two can.

Firion is a finisher, not a starter.

Ok, not a starter. But what if you have multiple finishers? If I did a chain like Orlandu - Chizuru - Firion - Fryevia , would that not work?

Yun is debatable due to his quick attacks and gaps.

When you look for chainers you look at pacing and if there are delays.

Orlandeu is the standard for consistant chaining, whereas Chizuru works best with a copy+finisher like Firion or Olive when you get the timing down.

In above Chizuru would screw up the chaining since she is too quick. Fry would break it IF DW is involved.

Yeah, the more different units you add, the harder it is to chain. That's why multiple Orlandeau is so good, his chain is very easy to pull off.

Do you guys think I should change my friend unit to orlandeau for now? I believe a switch to ramza once he gets enhancements will make a lot of sense.

But for now lightning just doesn't have the ceiling to deal major damage.

I could have sword Orlandu - Chizuru - Fryevia were chaining when I tried earlier, but maybe it was only Orlandu and Chizuru? Well, this means I can't actually because I don't have the right characters so I suppose trying to learn to chain is sorta meaningless to me right now.

Orlandeu and Fry can chain, but once DW is included Fry is better off as a finisher since she breaks it otherwise.

Chizuru is too quick for most.

Yeah, it's not that they can't chain, it's just that they'll cause gaps in the hits due to the attack timing that will break the chain.

The key to my victory is taking care of Ifrit first, slowly and carefully. First turn is setup with Xon using B-F to undo Siren's party buff (I let the party Dark weak debuff be), Pecil and Refia setting up Embolden and Focus, then it's on to business. TGC and Asagi chain Phantom Shadow and Divine Ruination (though I threw a couple of Crush Weapons Ifrit's way) while all Minfilia does is rotate Shadow Guard -> Fire Guard -> Aqua Guard all day everyday.

When a scripted buff happens Xon gets rid off it and spreads the love around. Pecil provokes to draw Siren's blasted Osmose, and Refia heals HP and status effects. If Xon is free, he resupplies the party with items. After Dark Ifrit dies, the fight becomes much easier with only one ****er throwing blasted AoE spells around. She still Osmoses like crazy though. And I think I messed up somewhere, because Dark Siren did TWO full heals, once after Dark Ifrit dies, and another when I put her in critical sometime later. No worries mate, she deeeeeeeaaaaaadddddd, and the prize is mine.

You know what's sweet that I just realized?

Twist of Fate only takes the positive status effects from the boss and doesn't pass on the bad ones to the party.

Xon is ****ing awesome. Best Thief.

I'll do the 5 man team one... never. Maybe. Pecil seems to be the one that does the least, maybe I can do it without him?

Also Carbuncle was a huge mistake, since Refia turned out to be the one that gets hit with the most damage, but the only other free Esper is Odin. I guess I can give Refia Diabolos and Xon Odin for an even easier time, but that's all in the past.but that's in the past.

Unlike Pecil who folds immediately.

i got my third burst pot from this event.

the good news is that once i get 15 or so more mini pots i can get cecil up to 6* real quick. i'm not sure where i got it from but i've got a king burst pot too which is great to get through his 5* form.


after i'm done potting cecil i'm gonna go raise an ex-death with it. got a 3* one waiting.
is there anyone else who really stands out? 6* garland gives an attack buff, 6* WoL gives a defense buff, but i lack more 3* of the former and the latter is 4*+ which is a bit more painful. if i'm going for pain i'd consider some like Ace since, even though his is just damage, does also factor in element, killers, and he's got 2x LB rate so he can easily spam that.

but i'd rather focus on 3* units. granted, considering how long it's taking me to finish Cecil, it's not like i'm gonna be asking this for a while.

by the time i'm done with ex-death's i'll probably have a second one running around. <_<;

2 belts+Kaiser is better. They stack.

i don't think wild card even exists in Japanese Ace. basically when we get his enhancements, our version will be better.

Wild Card was added since Ace sucked pre-enhancements to the point he was room mates with Delita(Another Fiyun got) and Queen in some run down apartment.

right. but i'm just confused as to how the hell they still don't have it. like i'd have thought it would've gone "here's a move in Global, now you guys get it too." i mean Tri-Laser's enhancement makes it great with 10% chance to solo bosses but at least throw him something for those without that.

but they didn't do that so uh... whoops?
instead he's got a spammable single target move that can outdamage dualcast ultima with the right equips (elements, killers, dual wield) that gives him free evasion.

Not big enough to OMG for them at this point. Him getting a chainable move and a pretty good Mana battery with more potential is good enough given all the units they got.


They do some altering here and there like they did with Arianna, and most likely will do when they get Yun, Ling, Olive, etc...


Also, did some testing with Osmoselash +2 on Trisen. With 330+atk on Diabolos she did about 170 or damage on MP for some. Need to build up her atk, or add DW for further tests...

I only have the one snow.

Anyway, Dangerous Woman Tour ELT done. Had to make two trips though, one with Dangerous Ariana, the other for the no KOs and no abilities Missions

First try I went with Asagi, Pecil, Dangerous Ariana, Refia, and Exdeath, with Friend Exdeath. However, literally on the second to last turn I used Phantom Shadow before remembering. Whoops. DA and the Exdeath's constantly died also from an unlucky triple dissonance turn, and there's this really damaging move called Deafening Pitch

Second try went a lot smoother, with Asagi, Pecil, CoD, Refia, and a surprise guest appearance by Charlotte. Oh and friend Gilgamesh (with no light weapons). I had to make sure either ProShellga up from the two users, or keep Pecil's LB up. All the while I kept smacking her with normal attacks only

It was a slow but steady fight both times.

No, that was good for an unprepped Seven. Fully prepped she mana deprives everyone, except those with silly high MP.

Same goes with Type-0 3rd event Rems.

I at least beat it with Ariana, though.

I have no desire to grind again for a second set of ariana equips, though.

Siren's Robe get and I am ****ing done with that Trial

Same party as before minus Xon and Refia has Diabolos this time. Hardest part is surviving the initial volley with that blasted Dark weak Debuff and Minfilia not finished putting up all 3 Elemental Guards. After that, the name of the game is slow and steady, since everybody, including the friend TGC unit, is 100% immune to both sleep and confusion

I could have accomplished this on the first run, I r shamed
