Yeah but I thought it didn't matter for TGC

and voltch, I do suggest Minfilia. She's awesome for this fight. If you're not doing it the slow way with her Elemental Guards, she also has Call to Attack, a 100% ATK boost to a single ally. That might help with your fire power.

I managed to get a 27 combo twice, its really hard to time it right. But I've been practicing on the Dark Ifrit/Dark Siren 10 Stamina stage.

Failed on both attempts at Elite, any weapons I better keep in mind for this fight?

Don't equip or use Fire/Water element. There's a nasty counter they can do if you smack them twice with their weakness when they're charging up.

Other than that, max out your ATK and have something Holy equipped.

Got to 20% with Greg. Then missed a dispell, ran out of MP, and electrocute finished me off.

That no items restriction is painful- might have to get D.Fina or Exdeath in to replace Refia for electric cause man, the flasks take a lot of MP- just enough so Ling can't keep up.

Also, really? FF6? I'm almost tempted to believe that Gumi is keeping WoL on purpose because he's that good...

Truthfully, it took all 3 of Bartz, Queen, and Noctis to cover everyone's MP. It was damn close though.

I might swap someone in for Bartz...
The problem is that I don't really have any room for anyone else in the team- Cecil is a great Tank and support, Ling helps burn attacks cause dodge and is my mana battery( and helps Noctis do actual damage before 50% cause entrust), Y'sholta heals, buffs and keeps Bushido from wrecking my shit, Refia is backup healer, Has embolden, and makes sure I prep Y'sh's LB for Bushido with Libra, and Rain is...well, you know why( might need DW so he can deal with Electric, then, maybe.)
Thus, my only DPS is the Friend noctis...who runs out fast once he needs to cast Thunder Flasks- rest of my team is just so GiLG doesn't kill me.outright.

I used the 100% evasion Friend Noctis strategy. I think my party was Bart/Odin, Queen/Golem, Asagi/Ifrit, and Refia/Carbuncle, and said Friend. My main DPS source is Asagi, and that was not fun.

Got all rewards in one fell swoop still

But it was ****ing stressful I can tell you that

... wait, did I use Asagi, or did I use Firion? It doesn't matter the DPS had to come from my own unit since Noctis's job was to draw all ST attacks to him and dodge.

Short version: Innate DC, Thundaga, Thundaja, 50% thunder/light/darkness resistance, 20% damage reduction aoe for 3 turns,

She is useful in a pinch.

In a way disappointing. Beat the final Ariana stage with little effort. Used a silence proof Y'shtola, Cecil, Gilgamesh, Exdeath and Snow.

Shellga/Protectga and had the rest use normal attacks until friend-Olive launched her LBs when not healing.
